The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

NeoBaggins - 5/14/2012, 9:20 AM
Apparently the web-shooters he's designed are powerful enough.... to hit the moon.
SpideyMark - 5/14/2012, 9:22 AM

razor - 5/14/2012, 9:38 AM
Maybe he's "skitching" a plane like skateboarders do with cars.
0ptimusCrime - 5/14/2012, 9:43 AM
is there somebody on CBM who can edit the picture and make it between buildings, that would be awesome!
FireKnightRises - 5/14/2012, 9:44 AM
they seriously need to show where he stick his webbing to
TheAmazingSlade - 5/14/2012, 9:56 AM
I'm already excited, but also a bit disappointed that they don't have a stronger storyline which could make the movie much better.
thalidomide - 5/14/2012, 9:57 AM
btw I was just kidding about the "Nolan Ripoff" shenanigans
ronnie42 - 5/14/2012, 10:05 AM
Here's a solution to the web....... its webbed onto a helicopter.
ComradeGrey - 5/14/2012, 10:05 AM
Well...since he's looking at the Chrysler building I'm going to assume he's at the top of the empire state building. Have any of you [frick]s ever actually seen New York from the top observation level of a building? This is about how it looks...
DanteSparda - 5/14/2012, 10:12 AM
@ImmortalVigilante

You haven't watched the movie yet. I have high hopes for the story, so far it looks like it would be more focused on Peter Parker himself rather than Spidey's villain or Parker's love interest, which I think would be a nice change from the Raimi formula.

And regarding where did Spiderman stick his web in the posters, well just as in comics he could be attached to the quinjet... oh noo he can't LOL.
HughJasol - 5/14/2012, 10:16 AM
Another reason to watch Howard Stern on NBC's AGT tonight: The new 4 min "Super Preview" of Amazing Spider-Man premieres!
Zordan - 5/14/2012, 10:17 AM
of course its nolan rip off but thats ok, i think this spiderman will be great and like batman begins, i like this posters, first one the most!!!
AsianVersionOfET - 5/14/2012, 10:20 AM
Pretty stupid
0ptimusCrime - 5/14/2012, 10:27 AM
@ComradeGrey

if he is at the TOP op the e.s.b where does his web stick to?

and no, this [frick]er has never been to ny, unfortunatly :(
TonyChu - 5/14/2012, 10:34 AM
@ JDUKE25 LMAO I never understood what he was webbing to in those videogames. Heavens gates maybe??
GiftedYoungster - 5/14/2012, 11:38 AM
***Yaaawwwnnn***

Can't shake the feeling that this is going to be a huge bastardization, but I don't really care for Spider-Man anyway.
JMESS - 5/14/2012, 11:38 AM
amazing poster ! no pun intended its just a really good job
KingPatel - 5/14/2012, 11:45 AM
these posters are some of the best ones yet

and as for the 'where he's sticking his webbing to' debate, i'm going to say he's probably swinging around the empire state building, about to land on it
