Couple of
Hobbit stories here. First up, Elijah Wood (who played Frodo in the
Lord Of The Rings trilogy) discusses his reprisal of the character in an interview with
Yahoo! Movies. He apparently has a very small role in
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (he can be seen briefly in the first trailer), but he very much enjoyed his time on set and seeing familiar faces.
"It kind of felt like a family reunion," Wood said.
"I think I anticipated it feeling more surreal than it ended up feeling. What struck me is that it just felt like no time had passed, and suddenly we were just doing it again."
In much more interesting news, however,
Alberta Film Ratings has officially classified the second theatrical trailer for the film, which is the first part of Peter Jackson's adaptation of
The Hobbit novel. No word on when the trailer will debut, but it's been speculated that it'll be attached to
The Dark Knight Rises next month (though, with the trailer being classified yesterday, I wouldn't be surprised if it will be released before the end of June). Be sure to check back within a few weeks for the trailer's premiere. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is set to hit theaters December 14th, later this year;
There And Back Again is scheduled to be released December 13th, 2013.
