Love the old school cover. ASM #700 is going to be a great read. I hope Dan Slott does not kill off Spider-Man.

"Spiderman, Spiderman radioactive Spiderman da na na da na na"
RexDartEskimoSpy - 11/20/2012, 9:51 AM
Okay, that Garcin cover clearly has part of the title left out for some secret reason...

Whoa, I just looked at the buildings in the background of Quesada's cover and made myself dizzy. Well played, Jose, well played.
JDUKE25 - 11/20/2012, 9:53 AM
Yeah, definitely love that old school cover and art.

Quesada's an ok artist who has borrowed heavily from the style of the great Todd McFarlane. But hes a horrible writer and EIC.
He has done a lot of damage to Marvel and especially Spider-Man in the last decade. Hes the main reason Marvel is a continuity mess much like DC.

I promised myself I wouldn't cry......................
HBarnill - 11/20/2012, 11:02 AM
Joe Q, all is forgiven.
plasticman - 11/20/2012, 11:02 AM
I like it. It's a great send-off cover for this series.
Temple - 11/20/2012, 11:16 AM
Gotta start picking these up. The twist got me interested.
DioFoRio - 11/20/2012, 12:10 PM
@Darkmetal and Nomis...I say , I say , I respectfully Disagree... Joey Q never borrowed from Mac. Joey always had an angular sharp quality to his figures, adhering to anatomy. Where as Mac, who I also like was just free form. No real eye for anatomy and was more loose with his art.
DioFoRio - 11/20/2012, 12:11 PM
as for the second cover throwback edition. Love how Petey tells everyone who the phuck he is. lol
RadicalDuck - 11/20/2012, 12:13 PM
@Nomis - true dat.
jimoakley666 - 11/20/2012, 12:50 PM
Bloody hell. Ditko is still drawing? Ace.
AmazingFantasy - 11/20/2012, 1:02 PM
I'm going to cry.
CaptainObvious - 11/20/2012, 1:13 PM
This hack single-handedly ruined not only Spider-Man, but the entire continuity of the Marvel Universe with his abomination known as One More Day.
DTor91 - 11/20/2012, 1:34 PM
I love how, even though Joe Quesada has made controversial editorial decisions, people seem to forget that without him Marvel wouldn't be in publication today.
Spideyguy94 - 11/20/2012, 2:20 PM
@CaptainObvious because according to dickhead quesada comic book fans cant relate to a married Peter Parker. The dude is such a condescending prick
TrueRedBlue - 11/20/2012, 2:45 PM
AH It's so sad to see
marvel72 - 11/20/2012, 3:09 PM
say what you like about quesada but the man can f*ckin draw.
DarthTesla - 11/20/2012, 8:34 PM
Awesome work from the Q, as always.
tripttwe - 11/20/2012, 11:06 PM
Dammit I LOVE this man's artwork! If it wasn't for that alone, I'd request that Stan get a restraining order for JQ in regards to anything Spider-Man related. PS: Yeah, I do realize he made great waves in his time at the top, but that pales in comparison to the crap that was - One. More. Day...
Equivocal - 11/20/2012, 11:19 PM
the first picture, spiderman has an HORRIBLE drawn 'face' WTF ?????

I like the second pic just because it reminds me of the good stories that I USED to read about spidey loooooooooooooong time ago !
tripttwe - 11/20/2012, 11:49 PM
I noticed the face after I saw the post. I agree. It's still a good pic, but those eyes are wayyyy to far apart...
randomdude - 11/21/2012, 5:08 AM
Did anyone see that page from edition 698?it's pretty [frick]ed up.
comicstocode - 11/22/2012, 6:48 AM
Quesada is a cherry picker. Why does he get all the major event variants? He's pure garbage! Spidey looks tangled in his own web for effen sake. He did this crap with Daredevil too and it was obnoxious. He shouldn't be allowed to touch Spidey.
thespiderman209 - 11/23/2012, 2:14 PM
funny you should mention that he looks tangled in his own web, guys look at spiderman 2099 #26 and tell me if the pose isnt similar to the cover of that issue
