ROBOCOP Reboot Enlists Composer Pedro Bromfman
Bromfman has been tapped to reteam with his Elite Squad director Jose Padhila to score Sony and MGM's upcoming reboot of the RoboCop franchise, which is currently in post-production.

According to Film Music Reporter, composer Pedro Bromfman has been hired to score the anticipated RoboCop reboot, which is directed by Jose Padhila. The two previously worked together on the two Elite Squad films, and the remake of the 1987 sci-fi classic is Bromfman's first major Hollywood studio scoring project. RoboCop, which is currently in post-production, features an all-star cast consisting of Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, Abbie Cornish, Jay Baruchel and Jackie Earle Haley. The Strike Entertainment, MGM and Columbia Pictures production is produced by Eric Neman & Marc Abraham and Robert Birnbaum & Gary Barber. RoboCop is set to hit theaters February 7th, 2014.
