ROBOCOP Reboot Enlists Composer Pedro Bromfman

Bromfman has been tapped to reteam with his Elite Squad director Jose Padhila to score Sony and MGM's upcoming reboot of the RoboCop franchise, which is currently in post-production.

According to Film Music Reporter, composer Pedro Bromfman has been hired to score the anticipated RoboCop reboot, which is directed by Jose Padhila. The two previously worked together on the two Elite Squad films, and the remake of the 1987 sci-fi classic is Bromfman's first major Hollywood studio scoring project. RoboCop, which is currently in post-production, features an all-star cast consisting of Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, Abbie Cornish, Jay Baruchel and Jackie Earle Haley. The Strike Entertainment, MGM and Columbia Pictures production is produced by Eric Neman & Marc Abraham and Robert Birnbaum & Gary Barber. RoboCop is set to hit theaters February 7th, 2014.

That's the best way to get experience and learn, to get thrown right in to a big project like robocop. Merry Xmas to that guy

Good cast, Okay director, but...
I remain entirely dubious about this needless remake of one of the most awesome films in existence. Even the shitty sequels had their moments, thanks to Frank Miller and Irvin Kirshner.

i wont buy that for a doller. This is ganna be the amazeing spider-ass of 2013. Shit costume shit movie shit remake. You think hollywood might understand that remakes are garbage. X-men was garbage! amazeing spider-ass garbage! total recall garbage! riday the 13 teenth garbage! nightmare on elm street garbage! Star trek garbage!

Hollywood has to stop makeing shitty remakes! Make sequills to movies or nothing at all!!! If you want people to see these great classic movies then just re- release them.
