I liked yesterdays tweet, but now this is starting to seem unlikely.

If he was really talking to Marvel and Josh about playing Black Panther, he wouldnt reveal it by himself if he hasnt signed the contract yet, so this wont help him to get the role. Marvel would be seriously pissed with this if true, Im sure.

he's said that the character will be in the avengers 2 and that he's reading black panther books. That most likely means that none of this is true and that the character wont be in the avengers 2. This just reminds me of back in the summer when about 7 actors came out saying the wanted the role.

With rumors of GOTG being well into the future and now this rumor that BP might be introduced in Avengers 2 I'm starting to think Antman, Dr Strange, and Black Panther will all be introduced in Avengers 2 then do solo movies and Guardians of the Galaxy will be standalone to the since that it will reference back to what the Avengers did in the past

Whether it is true or not, it seems Black Panther will happen at some point. The character is now closer to stepping onto the big screen than he was a year ago.
