New Title For THE MUPPETS 2 Announced; TOMORROWLAND Sets Earlier Release Date
In a big update to its upcoming schedule, Disney has announced a new title for its currently-shooting Muppets sequel, which will be released next spring. We also have a new release date for director Brad Bird's Tomorrowland starring George Clooney.
Disney has updated its schedule through the next couple years or so. You can check the article above for info on when two Marvel Studios films will hit theaters, but we now have two new pieces of info for a couple of the studio's 2014 offerings. First, a new title for the anticipated sequel to The Muppets has been revealed: Muppets Most Wanted. The Europe-set caper, which stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey, was previously titled The Muppets... Again!. The film, which is currently in production, is still on course to hit theaters March 21st, 2014.
In other news, Disney has set a new release date for director Brad Bird's next film, Tomorrowland. Starring George Clooney and Hugh Laurie, the mysterious sci-fi project is now scheduled for a December 12th, 2014 theatrical debut. The movie was originally slated for December 19th.
