We previously heard that Fox will be bringing X-Men: Days Of Future Past to San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday (along with The Wolverine and Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes), but other than announcing other X-titles, we weren't sure what else to expect. According to Vulture, over a dozen cast members from the superhero ensemble are heading to SDCCC, and will reveal new details at the panel. However, Vulture has found out many of these details, including which characters Peter Dinklage and Josh Helman are playing. As previously rumored, the former is Bolivar Trask, who in the comics created the Sentinel robots (that will most likely be featured in the film as well). And despite speculation that Helman is playing a young Cyclops, he is in fact portraying a young William Stryker; this character was previously in X2: X-Men United (played by Brian Cox) and X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Danny Huston).

Additionally, Vulture has uncovered new plot details for X-Men: Days Of Future Past. In the Bryan Singer-directed movie, Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page) "uses her powers to send Hugh Jackman's Wolverine back into the past, where he encounters the younger mutants played by James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender. However, something bad happens to Kitty during the time-travel trance, and while Wolverine is still under her spell, the other X-Men must race to find a mutant who can siphon Kitty's powers and bring their friend back to the future." What do you think of this news? Stay tuned to CBM for much more news as we get closer to Comic-Con.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore. The film is set to hit theaters May 23rd, 2014.

However, something bad happens to Kitty during the time-travel trance, and while Wolverine is still under her spell, the other X-Men must race to find a mutant who can siphon Kitty's powers and bring their friend back to the future. Could that be the plot development that brings Anna Paquin's power-copying Rogue into the fold once again? = YES

Wolverine under her spell? Do I not know Kitty Pryde as well as I thought I did?

Btw boycotting this movie unless there's a nude lesbian scene between Jennifer Lawrence and Ellen Page.
TotalChaos57 - 7/15/2013, 12:33 PM
Awesome! I'm loving what I am hearing!
Altair - 7/15/2013, 12:33 PM
Ellen Page is already lesbian the nude scene is not too much to ask

BTW they're making a new Dumb and Dumber and I'm so [frick]ing excited
darkspark - 7/15/2013, 12:38 PM
This sounds way stupider than i could have possible guessed.
Altair - 7/15/2013, 12:38 PM
Jennifer Lawrence might do it if they offer her a lot. Hell we'll make it a threesome with a special cameo from the mother[frick]er Altair himself
LordoftheThrones26 - 7/15/2013, 12:39 PM
@Altair
Get the [frick] out of here you sick [frick]!!
The plot sounds meh especially since this is supposed to be one of the best X-men storylines! Hope they do Age of Apocalypse next!!
TonyChu - 7/15/2013, 12:39 PM
@Altair Ellen Page goes out with Alexander Skarsgard and is not gay.
Altair - 7/15/2013, 12:41 PM

@Tony oh shit I thought she was Lesbian. My bad
HongKongPooey - 7/15/2013, 12:41 PM
So we're not getting Sentinels? :(
JDUKE25 - 7/15/2013, 12:42 PM
Give me Cyclops!!!

BANEofExistence - 7/15/2013, 12:42 PM
WHERES MARSDEN! He better be returning as Cyclops in this, a solo Cyclops film or future x-men films! [frick] x3, this film will be able to "alter" the future (So [frick] xmen the last stand, [frick] leech, [frick] juggernaut, [frick] killing off Xavier an Cyclops and [frick] the cure!) Singer, give us a proper "X3" and a new future, a new hope for the x-men franchise! Singers x-men films were amazing and im pulling for the wolverine and DOFP!
TheHawkWithin - 7/15/2013, 12:42 PM
This film is gonna be great, I cannot wait for it.
FirstAvenger - 7/15/2013, 12:43 PM
Not surprised.
PsychoManiacJacky - 7/15/2013, 12:43 PM
Okay wait what the heck is going on here...if Helman is playing a young Stryker then part of the film would have to taken place before Origins since Danny Huston played him in that movie...and wasn't Bolivar Trask or at least a character referred to as Trask in X-Men 3 played by Bill Duke...and how does Kitty all of a sudden have time travel powers that was never mentioned in the previous films or established that her powers can in fact reach those levels, those things were never explained but they plan to somehow fit it in for one film and then...Wolverine is the only person who goes on this possibly important and dangerous life and death mission but somehow...something bad happens so they must find a mutant who can..help...but then the film is supposed to take place in the future, right from what I presume and...wait hold on....

JDUKE25 - 7/15/2013, 12:43 PM

CharlesLord - 7/15/2013, 12:44 PM

Altair - 7/15/2013, 12:45 PM
Damnit Levi I already made the [frick]ing joke
Ocelot - 7/15/2013, 12:47 PM
"uses her powers to send Hugh Jackman's Wolverine back into the past," DAFUQ, You would think Blink would be the character to do this rather than Kity.

@MARVELPSYCHO79

This is pretty much a reboot of the series so it's likely we'll see other villians post Days of Future Past, X-FORCE will probably feature apocalypse and we got Sebastian Shaw in First Class aswell.
Greengo - 7/15/2013, 12:48 PM
F.UCK YOU ARGO!!! YOU SUCK AZZ!!!!
ManofSteel23 - 7/15/2013, 12:49 PM
this sounds shit,if they try and bring him back to the present, why the [frick] did they send him in the past in the first place? doesnt make sense, this has to be fake
MrMartinMarvel - 7/15/2013, 12:49 PM
So let me get this straight. Kitty uses her power of WALKING THROUGH WALLS to send Wolverine to the past, then shit goes down and the X-Men have to rescue Wolverine? BULLSHIT!
PsychoManiacJacky - 7/15/2013, 12:50 PM
If you guys keep complaining about wanting Cyclops in the movie and Singer might actually be able to get you a one second cameo :D
Altair - 7/15/2013, 12:50 PM
It does sound really fake to me
Greengo - 7/15/2013, 12:50 PM
The plot sounds like shit.
DioFoRio - 7/15/2013, 12:52 PM
theres a rumor that at the end of The Wolverine he receives a suitcase with a yellow and brown suit ..then cut to credits....hmmmm. Via ComicBookGirl19 youtube channel.
DioFoRio - 7/15/2013, 12:52 PM
there's
LucasMend - 7/15/2013, 12:52 PM
Weird, young Stryker in the 70's? Wasn't X-Men Origins Wolverine set in the 70's-80's? where stryker was 40-60 years old. That timeline is so [frick]ed up.
Altair - 7/15/2013, 12:52 PM
They use words like "trance" and "spell". Kitty's using magic to send him back guys
teabag - 7/15/2013, 12:52 PM
I'd spend a few quality seconds naked with Lawrence...

But I don't thing I could do a threeway with Page aswell

yknow..just incase I touch his penis

:P
ekrolo2 - 7/15/2013, 12:52 PM
Its post X3 so Cyclops is still dead, thats why you're not seeing him here and probably wont until the very end of the film once the time lines merge.
ATrueHero1987 - 7/15/2013, 12:54 PM
@MP79 thats Stryker's father in FC.

Altair - 7/15/2013, 12:54 PM
Lol @Tea
TheFox - 7/15/2013, 12:55 PM
Well, on one hand, I'm glad Kitty IS going to be involved in more of the movie, including the time-travel stuff... but dammit, did they have to put her out of commission while they're in the past? I wanna see more of Ellen Page's Kitty Pryde, dammit!

@Marvelpsyco70

That's was his dad when Prof is giving his presentation to the CIA their not paying attention. And he calls them out on it stating one was wondering about what kind of pie they were serving and the other was thinking about his son "William".
ATrueHero1987 - 7/15/2013, 12:58 PM
Idk about this plot...what day is this panel on and the Marvel Studios panel?
Taboggon - 7/15/2013, 12:58 PM
we're seven movies deep in the series, and they're still hung up on Magneto and..... Stryker?
This is not how I imagined the series would go when it was first announced back in the 90s.
PsychoManiacJacky - 7/15/2013, 12:58 PM
X:Men First Class

23 Sc: Agent Stryker...

They said it was supposed to be Stryker Sr or something but it still doesn't make any sense whatsoever
BackwardGalaxy - 7/15/2013, 12:59 PM
This is one of the most fascinating superhero projects I can remember. The scope... the thought process behind even attempting something like this under the banner of a major studio... the players involved...

It could be horrible. It could be great. But it's fascinating either way.
