f*cking six months,i can't wait that long.
PaulRom - 12/22/2011, 11:13 AM
Great news. Expected something around the time TDKR comes out, a little earlier won't hurt as long as it's good and ready.
Frogman - 12/22/2011, 11:14 AM
It's not out until summer 2013... its surprising enough we got a Hobbit trailer a year before its release.
MrReese - 12/22/2011, 11:25 AM
this is awesome news!!!
luffycapri - 12/22/2011, 11:42 AM
no teaser ?
karloshuddos - 12/22/2011, 11:57 AM
You know it's going to be attached to The Dark Knight Rises, it would be an absolute marketing missed opportunity by Warner Bros. if they didn't.

My prediction is TDKR will have Man of steel and The hobbit trailer #2 attached to it.
Curmudgeon - 12/22/2011, 12:02 PM
WB's only major release in June is "Jack the Giant Killer".

Which certainly seems like a film they'd put big name trailers on.... it needs all the help it can get.
SimyJo - 12/22/2011, 12:07 PM
@marvel72

You're about to! :D
blueorangeny - 12/22/2011, 12:13 PM
So it seems like the TDKR will have the trailer or teaser in front of it. Shit I say a quick tease now and a prologue before the TDKR/
StrangerX - 12/22/2011, 12:16 PM
NOT SURPRISING AT ALL.
l0rdleg0las - 12/22/2011, 12:42 PM
TDKR is going to have the trailer attached to it.

but didn't i read that the Hobbit was geting pushed back because of filming delays and Superman was getting its old December 2012 spot back because Snyder is just zipping along with it.

6 MONTHS IS BULLSHIT THOUGH!
andypand89 - 12/22/2011, 1:00 PM
the trailer will most likely be attached to the dark knight rises not like batman needs supermans help to sell a film :)
Viltrumite - 12/22/2011, 1:14 PM
They'll probably put it with Jack the Giant Killer, just as a little "eff yew" to Bryan Singer for Superman Returns.
JorL5150 - 12/22/2011, 1:37 PM
@ the goddamnsuperguy-

i think you're correct.

@ viltrumite-

hahahahaha!

wedontdie - 12/22/2011, 3:09 PM
I hope this isn't the movie poster, looks a little too fake, I thought Superman Returns had an epic movie poster, but I still can't wait for the trailer for man of steel! I hope all this work of two years on a movie pays off! two years on a movie should have another villian other than faora! get metallo in there or something?
JDUKE25 - 12/22/2011, 3:25 PM

ugh...that's so far away
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 12/22/2011, 6:42 PM
So excited for this film! We need something to satisfy ourselves for that 6 month wait
golden123 - 12/22/2011, 8:12 PM
I have three awesome looking superhero movies to look forward too this summer. Not to mention two spy films and two fantasy films that I'm looking forward to are coming out in 2012. I have plenty of entertainment to occupy me in the meantime.
LP4 - 12/22/2011, 8:37 PM
This movie will own.

Avengers fans...your move
DioFoRio - 12/22/2011, 9:12 PM
lol...you can't say your move till we see a justice league movie son!....and I want that to happen!
LP4 - 12/22/2011, 9:48 PM
@Dionysios- True...

and I agree, a JLA film would be BOSS.

But Superman vs. those Avengers. Shit I'm sticking with o'l Big Blue.
CraptainAmerica - 12/23/2011, 5:33 AM
This makes my dinky pound
cwell510 - 12/23/2011, 11:29 AM
I think we should all wait 7 months and they can show the trailer in front of The Dark Knight Rises which may help (like it really needs it) sales of the film.
Moonwalker1991 - 12/24/2011, 9:09 AM
Can't wait for this film. Superman needs to be done justice. Haven't seen a decent Superman film since the Original in the late 1970's. Not crazy about Zod being the villain, but if it's done similar to how he was portrayed in Smallville, which was awesome, with a sick showdown between Clark and Zod in the finale, I'm all for it.
Moonwalker1991 - 12/24/2011, 9:13 AM
Saw Henry Cavill in "Immortals", and he's freaking awesome. Can't wait to see his portrayal of Clark Kent/Superman, cause I know he's going to deliver, more so than Routh and his emo behind in Superman Returns. Ugh.
ComicsCommando - 12/24/2011, 10:49 AM
Nice.
darCNite1989 - 12/24/2011, 1:21 PM
Is it really gonna take too much effort for WB to pan over a giant yellow S and draw it out for at least 30 seconds and attach it to TDKR?
Dev7 - 12/24/2011, 2:24 PM
Synder's teasers aren't known for holding back footage. Expect MoS teaser to be balls to the wall action and alot of money shots for a teaser trailer.
tazmaniak - 12/24/2011, 9:27 PM
The movie doesn't come out for another year and a half.I wasn't even expecting a trailer until next fall, or in July during ComicCon at the earliest.
sahin86 - 12/25/2011, 1:45 PM
tooooooo long!!!!
gamerguy753 - 12/25/2011, 5:07 PM
wow well if they do release a trailer in 6 months then that would be awesome, but I'd still like to see a trailer a bit sooner.
davistrend - 12/26/2011, 3:47 PM
Why 2013 and not 2012 the movie is nearly done. I just hope they made it super this time for this long wait. I know Henry will deliver some intense action. I love the suit and the way Henry Studied his superman cause the poses does look similar to the comics. I know the flying will be very dramatic like how superman supose to be. Imagine Weta the best Special effects company on earth. I haven't seen this movie yet and i am giving it a 5 stars LOL. Best comic book movie ever its gonna be legendary.
darkknightmare2012 - 12/30/2011, 8:48 AM
shit thats a long time for a teaser trailer ...
darkknightmare2012 - 12/30/2011, 8:48 AM
then again they havent wraped shooting yet right?
ManOfKrypton - 12/30/2011, 1:40 PM
Good news, I'm glad they're taking their time with this film.... I hope they nail it right!
DioFoRio - 1/1/2012, 11:21 PM
@LP4 true...he would best the Avengers...But not Loki!! magic
DioFoRio - 1/1/2012, 11:23 PM
I can't wait to see if this will be a REAL SUPERman movie for this day and age. The technology to make a Superman movie good these days is mind blowing. Opportunity missed with the last reta...erm incarnation.
DioFoRio - 1/1/2012, 11:25 PM
@BluePallindo...I think the way the subject matter was dealt with in GL is what made people "cringe". Had GL been a tad more serious in it's take of the character...I think seminal shoddy CGI would have been forgiven.
