This is totally inaccurate, regardless the super power I wouldnt have gotten up off my ass as a teenager.
LEEE777 - 1/26/2011, 5:58 AM
$300???

Damn... that put Fox's Marvel movies to shame!

: P

Epic find @ Brent and kudos to all that made that!

Hey, LEEE! It's been a while. What's shaking?
bsprecher - 1/26/2011, 6:08 AM
@Lansdowne5: Yeah, right? Especially that end sequence where Melody freezes time.
shaddowkhan - 1/26/2011, 6:11 AM

bsprecher - 1/26/2011, 6:36 AM
@LEEE: Just working a lot, bro, which is why I haven't been around CBM too much of late.
JosePetrelli12 - 1/26/2011, 6:44 AM
interesting.... Can we get these Fan Movie makers a deal and a budget?
BIGBMH - 1/26/2011, 6:50 AM
If this was a real series, I'd me more likely to watch it than No Ordinary Family or The Cape.
bsprecher - 1/26/2011, 6:52 AM
@BIGBMH: I totally agree!

@JosePetrelli: Enough hits and that just might happen!
hunterelf - 1/26/2011, 6:53 AM
that's actually very good !!!
biggcess - 1/26/2011, 7:06 AM
Wow, that reminded me of MisFits.

Great job for $300, kinda puts a lot of CBM's to shame.

Eh, WB give this kid a budget, a unlimited gift card to Taco bell, an xbox and a stack of porn and I be he'll be able to come up with better cbm's than your worthless staff have (excluding Nolan batman).

flames809 - 1/26/2011, 8:13 AM
big- why only wb you talking about why no marvel to or fox? and the other movie director? and dude that kid isn't even near Nolan talent as a director.
flames809 - 1/26/2011, 8:14 AM
and gotta say if there were teen age superheros i think they would be lazy and only care for somethings.
comicb00kguy - 1/26/2011, 8:26 AM
Kind of reminds me of my group of mutant teens I wrote and drew a few years back. They used their powers for personal gain (like my nymphomaniac telepath, who used his powers to know what girls wanted to hear so he could get laid, or my superpopular kid who was raised in a very anti-mutant household and must now confront the fact that he's a mutant-and that's not his only secret) or for their own amusement, like my invulnerable fat kid who enjoys doing Jackass-style stuff because he can't be hurt, though he'd rather be stoned or drunk. The whole thing is too long to go into here, but it was a lot of fun to write.
RoscoeFolgers - 1/26/2011, 8:31 AM
The quality of the video and effects are nice. But the writing and characters are lame.
Betty - 1/26/2011, 8:36 AM
That was really awesome!
Runefyst - 1/26/2011, 8:41 AM
Pretty cool effects, especially for $300.

Too bad it's wasted on a lame concept & bad script. :P

Some people can make GOOD films with low budget that actually have some substance. It's not all about loading something up with SFX.

SHWEEET! I forsee a great future for you Michael.
Seph - 1/26/2011, 11:38 AM
it looks good but i dont think he can have mega heaps of fun with big budgets because the bigger the cash the bigger the birocracy involved and the less free hand you have.
AnimatedTdot - 1/26/2011, 12:12 PM
Awesome find.
steelrocks - 1/26/2011, 12:31 PM

DAMN. That's the best way to describe it!!

Howt the f*ck can all the mofos on DC and MARVEL spend so much money and end up with shitty effects in a TON of their movies?

$300 bucks????????????????????? $300 bucks?????

F*ck you Brian Singer. That's how I wanna finish this post. Even a bunch of teenagers make a better action sequence than you (regarding the mastershittypiece superman returns)
Jakeroo - 1/26/2011, 12:59 PM
I dont know about the acting but that 12 minutes had more action than both nolan batman movies combined!!!

NICE JOB!!!!
Kevwebsz - 1/26/2011, 1:09 PM
wow
13Deadpool13 - 1/26/2011, 1:12 PM
Wow, some of the graphics where stellar, and some some kinda sucked, lol. The acting needed improvements, as well as some of the camera work and sound, But for a fan made 300 dollar budget, this was awesome. NICE WORK
Bandrews1 - 1/26/2011, 1:21 PM
That was actually pretty good, this dude has potential, and the Melody chick please tell me she wasn't suppose to be a teen because she obviously look like somebodies mom, lol. @biggcess this reminds me of Misfits as well.
ABLEE337 - 1/26/2011, 2:42 PM
Most of those effects are easy to do in after effects. Just go to VideoCoPilot.Net, they have tutorials on how to do most of those things.
SirEdwardIV - 1/26/2011, 4:08 PM
If you guys liked this short-film, you should definitely check out the British show "Misfits". It is truly amazing.
Jer3miah - 1/26/2011, 5:19 PM
That was epic. These guys have mastered what ever program they use that edits special effects. Wow.. Just wow, lol.
