Joseph Gordon-Levitt Spotted And More The Dark Knight Rises Set Pics!

It looks like Christopher Nolan is gearing up for another big scene in Pittsburgh today. Besides spotting yet another prototype Tumbler, a heavy military vehicle, and a snow-covered street, the spectators were also able to catch a new glimpse at Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake.

Here's what a spectator had to say about the on-set action...

"Joseph Gordon Levitt is in this scene... He's in street clothes holding a gas can walking past the church while the tumbler just rolls by."


"Huge military vehicle (the black one I couldn't get pictures of earlier) is now following the tumbler up the street, same slow pace."


"3 mercenary looking guys on the scene with big guns. They're in green camo though, different outfits than we've seen before."












The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled to hit cinemas July 20th, 2012, and will feature an all-star cast that includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman Marion Cottilard, Anne Hathaway, Josh Pence, Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman & Jospeh Gordon Levitt.

Nomis - well there has been ONLY one other movie with Catwoman in it w/ batman.

But seriously, I can't get excited for this shit. None of the shit that has come out has been even mildly impressive.

And I laugh my ass off when people bitch about The Avengers having "so" many characters yet, this movie has the same amount.

Nolan is [frick]ed by the 3rd movie curse.

Im sure all of these leaked pics & videos are driving Nolan nuts. How come there werent these many leaked pics & vids with TDK when they filmed in Chicago?

IMO, No matter what happens, NOTHING that Nolan can come up with will even REMOTELY compare to the maniacal genius that Ledger brought to TDK...

What I want to see at the end of this movie:

1) Neeson emerge from the Lazarus Pit
and
2) the movie ends with Bruce going to the circus to see The Flying Graysons

I bet, JGL is Black Mask. I'm NOT on the same page as the fanboy fingercrossed hopefuls, but I'm looking at how filming a movie works. For ONE, JGL is a major star, to play a chump role as he is made it to, sounds fishy.

For two, “When you collaborate with people as talented as Marion and Joe, it comes as no surprise that you would want to repeat the experience. I immediately thought of them for the roles of Miranda and Blake, and I am looking forward to working with both of them again.” -Nolan ...she is playing Talia, that's a no brainer, those pics that surfaced the other day shows that. Her playing Talia, shows that she was set to play her from the get go. Having Miranda Tate as her alias throughout the first half of the movie. I'm sure Nolan had similar ideas for Levitt, an equally respected actor AS Hardy, Cotillard, and Hathaway.

Now, they're all supposed to be in the LOS right? Now look at how Bane's mask looks. Even though they said the mouth piece/guard thingy is piping, it DOES resemble teeth. But his mask fits his character. Like X-Men, their uniforms are all similar yet very different, very fitting for each individual. Levitt I bet will have a fully closed BLACK Mask (symbolizing one that doesn not want to be seen, UNLIKE Bane's out in the open Revolution type manner), with the same mouth piece/guard thing. Which will resemble more of a skull. Now..he might not be the Black Mask you all remember from the comics, but who in this movie really is. Oh..and I'm not saying that in a complaining tone either.

Him playing a sadistic, backstabbing spy on Gotham's Police force, while Cotillard does the same for Wayne Enterprises, and Bane being the strong arm of it all, the smash and bash kind of guy..sounds about right..IMO, of course.

No doubt in my mind someone is hidden. How about Marion is Talia Guhl, and JGL is a member of the league of shadows looking over her for Ra's Ah Gul. Or maybe, Joseph Gordon Levitt is Edward Nigma, and makes a transition to the Riddler like that of Two-Face in TDK

-Capcyclopsftw & Marvel72 - Everyone is entitled to their opinion, however when that opinion is clearly biased by DC vs. Marvel fanaticism, it is annoying and pisses people off. I personally do not report people but just providing an alternative perspective why they might be reporting you. Also calling people out with things like "nolanites" makes you sound like a jealous hater, especially because the two previous films have had success. I do not understand why being a fan of Marvel means that some people must automatically put anything DC related down.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see who JGL turns out to be. I'm sure the fact that he is wearing clothes that have a greenish tint and a tie is fueling the riddler rumors that popped up today.

@Sigma: I love all of Nolan'd films, but i hate that catwoman doesnt have a cowl yet. Im not biased dude.

Trap has a point, if this film was a marvel movie, u would all be bashing the haters on every article.

Its Marvel vs DC crap in my opinion. It's like they can't stand the idea of a DC film being great. Idk how this movie will turn out, but the director has had an incredible record so far, and he wouldn't have committed himself to a 3rd film unless he was sure it would top the first 2

If Nolan verbally TOLD the actors the ending to the film instead of giving them copies of the last few pages of the script, you already know some crazy shit is gonna go down!! :p

@Sigma - He has had a pretty good track record with or without considering Batman movies. None of us know how it is going to come together, I personally am not overly excited nor overly critical at this point, just interested to see how it plays out. It is one thing to not like designs, yet another to say the movie is going to suck and fail because of some of the design choices we have seen.

The cast of the original Star Wars film were quoted for questioning how it would all come together and thought it looked ridiculous while they were filming...look how that one turned out.

@superman17 im mainly into dc. i havent been happy with marvels movies that well either.

@trapinsteel the point being that star wars was an original film and they came up with the material while batman being an adaptation a very very lose one at that of a comic book those designs are laid out but not followed. just so some director can feel special by saying oh this is my version so i can do whatever i want.

Trapdinsteel - I admit I'm a marvel fanboy, but I love Batman and I love Green Lantern, but I'm not a fan of TDK and GL. I liked Batman Begins.

Its the "nolanites" that I can't stand. And no it's not out of jealousy at all.

And if you looked at half of the comments that are reported, they have nothing to do with marvel vs. dc, its people not agreeing that batman is god.

id have to say batman begins was the best so far. it just seems like they downplayed batman for nolanites and the general audience in the dark knight.
