Another Banner For THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Released

The marketing blitz for The Dark Knight Rises continues with another amazing banner, featuring Bane and Batman face to face. Hit the jump to check out this cool new image.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled to hit cinemas July 20th, 2012, and will feature an all-star cast that includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman Marion Cottilard, Anne Hathaway, Josh Pence, Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman & Jospeh Gordon Levitt.

I can't wait to see Batman and Bane fight. I think the fight between them will be no-holds-barred.

The only way Batman will be able to defeat Bane is if he removes his mask.

Bane won't be so big and bad when he constantly doesn't have painkillers being injected into his body.

Can't believe people hate on a big film release like this which will end a really well filmed and entertaining trilogy. As if there are shit loads of other great films out this year apart from the likes of Spiderman, Prometheus, Hobbit, Skyfall....lol your defiantly not a fan of movies.

However reluctant I may be to say this...

Because the Marvel v DC / Whedon v Nolan is so stupid imo..

I gotta say this promo material has already surpassed The Avengers.

That's not to say TDKR will make more $ than Avengers, just that the promo art etc is more impressive thus far.

Lastly nobody should bitch about another movies marketing, especially when the movie they are looking forward to most just released this image.





(Full disclosure, I think TAS will be a great movie, but there are no words in my vernacular that can describe the unintentional comedy of that picture. Seriously, it's a perfect 10/10 on the unintentional comedy scale).

Why is that? Both should matter instead of settling for one over the other. Saying something like that is a fan cop-out as far as I am concerned. As a Batman fan, I want the characters to look the part and be solid actors.

To see Marvelites mocking Nolanites when their behaviour is exactly the same is quite hilarious. And the fact that they don't see it, quite sad.
