Marc Webb was recently interviewed by Comicbook.com and asked what villain he would be most interested in bringing to the Spider-Man franchise. Marc Webb had this to say.
“Kraven,” Webb replied. “Kraven. I like the idea of Kraven. The Vulture. Ock. I always thought the idea of Mysterio was interesting. Maybe Scorpion. But really, Kraven I think is kind of interesting.”

Great. He just listed off a whole bunch more villains that he can [frick] up.
Scarilian - 5/4/2014, 3:20 PM
He really has no [frick]ing clue what he is doing... its pretty much 'throw money, cameos and villains at the screen and see what sticks'
GenerationX - 5/4/2014, 3:20 PM
I thought he said he was done after this one???? What does he care if he isn't doing anymore?
JordanKing - 5/4/2014, 3:21 PM
We'd be interested in you never touching another Spider-Man movie.
Scarilian - 5/4/2014, 3:21 PM
@GenerationX
He's signed on for the third - which needs to include Venom to set-up the Venom spin-off planned for release after that film.
JamesMan - 5/4/2014, 3:21 PM
So put him in Sinister Six then.
Pedrito - 5/4/2014, 3:22 PM
Too soon?
kinghulk - 5/4/2014, 3:25 PM
would love to see scorpion or kraven or the spider slayers, but more so the first 2. if webb does do 1 of these he had better not screw it up.
Scarilian - 5/4/2014, 3:26 PM
@JamesMan

'But... James... Man that would make sense! We cant have anything making sense in the Sinister Six films. We need them all to be characters who get a redemption and we need no battle with Spider-man!!!!' - Marc Webb

Seriously though, the Sinister Six line-up has been changing constantly. I wouldn't be surprised if the final line-up turns into;

Doc Ock, Vulture, Electro, Kraven, Mysterio and Rhino

Which gives us 5 of the original six with Rhino replacing Sandman. With Harry then being left out until TASM3 where he'd be the main villain along with Venom.
Kurne - 5/4/2014, 3:26 PM
The only one I can see him [frick]ing up from that list is Doc Ock. He'll say he wants to do something "different" with the character, blame Raimi for already bringing him to life and yeah, basically screw him over like Goblin.
FastFlames - 5/4/2014, 3:27 PM
I say bring back Sam Raimi for Amazing Spider-Man 3 and let him redeem himself. Make it happen Sony. Do it.

I hate seven web heads so much. He sounds so [frick]ing annoying.

@TheBlackNerd

What's that?
GenerationX - 5/4/2014, 3:41 PM
blah
MediaMan - 5/4/2014, 4:00 PM
Vulture is a better choice, I think. JMO.
BlackIceJoe - 5/4/2014, 4:01 PM
What about Kingpin? That is the one villain I so would enjoy seeing.
BANEofExistence - 5/4/2014, 4:02 PM
just revealed the sinister six possible line up :p

Green Goblin
Doc Oc
Vulture
Kraven
Rhino
Mysterio

Ilike the lineup with the exception of the vulture. was never rally a fan of vulture, but we will see. Id prefer Sandman or Electro. I Hope we get Mysterio though!
TheRationalNerd - 5/4/2014, 4:17 PM
@Starfox

Have you already seen the film? If not I'd hate to tell you. :( I hate giving away spoilers.
0megaDaGod - 5/4/2014, 4:17 PM
I will never be able to hear him talk about anything without feeling a distinct sense of both discuss and uneasiness. What he did in TASM, and then what he followed that up with in TASM2 is unforgivable
miklonus - 5/4/2014, 4:21 PM
I can't even understand the f_ckin' dialogue in that youtube video. Jesus Christ if you're gonna post something at least put it in understandable English.

@TheBlackNerd
Tell me please. I caved and saw the movie but left at the start of the credits.
TheAbaryMan369 - 5/4/2014, 4:37 PM
Stop [frick]ing up Webb
FastFlames - 5/4/2014, 4:56 PM
My dream line up is Emma Stone, ScarJo, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, Cobie Smulders, and Gal
Gadot. Elizabeth Olson can be the back up if one doesn't show.
Praetorian - 5/4/2014, 5:00 PM
This lineup all the way: Kraven, Doc Ock, Vulture, Rhino(not an original member but he is in this universe sao...) , Mysterio (instead of electro) , Sandman.
HypeMusheen - 5/4/2014, 5:02 PM
Of course he wants to use Doc Ock and Vulture how original. why not Carnage?
sKeemAn - 5/4/2014, 5:05 PM
Is it time to reboot the reboot?
Visualiza - 5/4/2014, 5:09 PM
Go ahead and ruin Kraven too, Webb. After seeing those blunders with Jamie Foxx and Paul Giamatti, I wouldn't be surprised if he courted Jonah Hill for the role.
MexicanSuperman - 5/4/2014, 5:12 PM
I loved the movie. Y'all n!##@$ are over exaggerating.
Visualiza - 5/4/2014, 5:21 PM
Love it all you guys want. Doesn't mean it's perfect, nor does that mean that the criticisms aren't legitimate.

I'm sick and tired of people insinuating that just because they liked a movie, it's above criticism, and it's every movie these days. If Elektra came out tomorrow you guys would defend it in the same way.
TheBaroness89 - 5/4/2014, 5:39 PM
Kraven will fall clumsily into a pit of experimental Oscorp tigers while trying to fix a net. Boom. Done. New villain.
OpticBlastWins - 5/4/2014, 5:50 PM
There is no way they would leak the true cast that way. I dig the line-up but with it lloking almost clear for 1 and 2 being doc oc and vulture(maybe or not) Kraven deserves more screen time, so does Mysterio.
mbembet - 5/4/2014, 5:57 PM
i'm so glad this movie got trashed by most critics and fanboys just like man of shit

I trust Marc Webb. I've enjoyed every movie he's directed so far.
TotesMagotes12 - 5/4/2014, 6:36 PM
I like this movie more than any Marvel Studios movie I've seen.
JakeMurdock89 - 5/4/2014, 6:45 PM
Amazing 2 + Man of Steel > Cap 2 + Avengers
dethpillow - 5/4/2014, 6:50 PM
I think we're gonna see Kraven and Chameleon. probably that's one of the main reasons Rhino ended up in this one.

it seems like Webb wanted to introduce some Russian mob elements anticipating a larger role for those in the next movie.
dethpillow - 5/4/2014, 7:12 PM
You can imagine a real easy of setting up Sinister Six, where now we got the Russian mob not happy with Spider-Man.

we have the Man in the Shadows really not happy about Spider-Man and deciding to put together a team to take him out. Kraven, Rhino and Chameleon is already half that team.

like I could see them going a different way with JJJ entirely, and making Spider-Man 3 a movie where he totally obsessed with how everyone loves Spider-Man. as usual right? but then focus more on just simply that, do a movie where he hires Gargan to dig up dirt, whatever he can on him, and also begins funding Smythe and his Spider-Slayers. this leads to also funding the Scorpion, which would be like a genetic modification to Gargan. that could be the premise for Spider-Man 3, JJJ more like a semi-villain that just gets in over his head with stuff and not Peter's boss. Spidey would save him anyways tho.

but then you could easily see the Sinister Six being Scorpion, a real crazier like genuinely insane Green Goblin (Harry), a weirder more powerful Electro, Rhino with a redesigned suit, Kraven and Chameleon. Man in Shadows in charge.

a lot of people don't think Chameleon's that intersting, but he'd be like the one that did stealth type stuff on the ground. they'd be attacking Parker's life as well as Spider-Man.

In fact, what you could do, also is have Miles Warren working for Man in Shadows and trying to figure out Venom technology left from Richard Parker. Since we already would've seen Scorpion in TASM3, in Sinister Six, Warren would try to bond the Venom symbiote to Scorpion, it wouldn't react well to him tho, even tho it would seem maybe effective cuz it'd make him more ruthless and deadly and Venomish, but it just wouldn't take right.

then in the final fight, with all six going up against Spider-Man, the symbiote would recognize Peter's Dna and end up grafting onto him and being what made him able to beat the Sinister Six. then that would naturally set up the Venom movie. Warren would see this behavior of the symbiote suit also, and realize he needed to have subjects with Peter's genetic material to have any chance of figuring out how to make the suit work for anyone else.
