Dale Earnhardt Jr. Wins Race In TDKR Sponsored Car

RacingWin.com has WRITTEN a wonderful article about Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s victory today in a Nascar event. Why does it interest us? Because Dale was driving a car with a Batman paint scheme. Neato!

Dale Earnhardt Jr did not have the fastest car at the start of the Quicken Loans 400. But 400 miles later he did as the No. 88 displayed in the No. 1 position on the scoring pylon. Earnhardt started the race 17th and quickly fell back to 25th.

But 11 laps into the race crew chief Steve Letarte called for a spring rubber and a chassis adjustment on the black, Batman sponsored No. 88 and the car came to life after that.

By lap 70 Earnhardt passed pole-sitter Marcos Ambrose for the lead and quickly pulled away. Earnhardt took the lead for the final time on lap 172 and never looked back for the final 28 laps.

The crowd in the grandstands roared their approval until there were only 5 laps to go. That’s when an eerie silence fell over the speedway except for the sounds of the engines. Fans seemed to be holding their breath waiting for something bad to happen. It didn’t. - racingwin.com

I'm not really a big NASCAR fan myself but my brother
is! But I do follow DALE JR.'cause I was a fan of
his DAD.

My brother pointed this out to me 'cause he watched
the race.

I'M a fan of BATMAN & DALE JR. so I thought this
would be fun to throw up here!

well I'm gonna guess since you referred to NASCAR as a "fantastic sport" you must be a fan. I can also guess that after such an ignorant paste eating comment like that you have done nothing to help the general public's view of NASCAR fans & their demographic. Think about it.

If a movie ad is plastered onto the race car of a popular driver and he wins in that car, that marketing plan has succeeded to it's fullest extent.

Great stuff DDD! I started to post this info last night but had the entire family over for a fathers day cookout and maybe had a little too much beer to post a proper write up. Great to see you bud!

The race was rigged???? There are sponsers in NASCAR that could buy and sell Warner Bros. without breaking a sweat. Earnhardt has been running well all this year and has had a good enough car to win several races. It just so happened that having Batman put in a little prep time pushed him across the finish line in first place. He dominated this race. And no, I am not an Earnhardt fan.

Just looks like someone dumped a bucket of white paint on the hood of his car. They really could have done a much better job on the design. I like his jump suit though. Congrats to Jr! Nice to see him finally win! :)
