If Hollywood Makes A Doctor Who Movie

What if British beloved Time Lord goes Hollywood and rebooted into a motion picture with American cast? Who will play all current 11 Doctor and the final two? Who will play his companion and who will be the villain?

I am a huge Doctor Who fan, have been since I saw Voyage of the Damn and first seeing David Tennant as The Tenth Doctor. I was blown away how amazing a TV show can be, let alone a science fiction show that has been around since 1963! Since then, I watch every episodes of the new recon and have been "trying" to see the old episodes (not because they'r old and the special effects are painfully bad, but because the so damn many of them!) and lately, I've been thinking and really, fantasize, about Doctor Who being made into a movie. There was a some-what Doctor Who movie back in 1996 with Paul McGann as The Eight Doctor, however it was a made-for-TV-movie for Fox that fail in ratings here in the States but I was thinking more of a full length movie. A reboot, if you like to call it like the 2009 Star Trek movie! See, the new Star Trek was a reboot, starting from the very beginning without any ties to the previous Trek movies and the original series so why do the same for Doctor Who?? Start from the beginning; how did he became the Doctor? Was Susan a Time Lord and his granddaughter? How did The Master became evil?

So I did something pretty neat for this fan cast, I base on these actors pick on resemblance the characters of the show. I base it on looks and actor ability and some are just really jokey choice so please don't take some very seriously! Though a few are personal picks of mine and something I really want to see happen if Hollywood do makes a Doctor Who film. I will not give each pick a definition explanation because I think that waste time and I made a lot of picks! Shout out to Picnik for making this possible, by the way! =P I would love to have a conversation on the comments panel down below and will ask plenty of questions. If I leave or forget anyone out, please tell me so I can add them. I seperate the casting in three different category: The Doctor, His Companions and The Villains.

Without further ado, here is Doctor Who: The Movie! Allonsy-Alonso!!!!

Note: Yes Andrew Garfield is British and this is a "Americanize" Doctor Who movie but he was born in Los Angeles and he had a duel citizen between the US and the UK.

Now actors I pick to play the remaining two incarnation of the Doctor till his final regeneration:

@Xenix Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, and Paul McGann are still alive, but they aren't looking too well. What's the point of recasting them?

And if Hollywood did make a Doctor Who movie, I'd personally boycott it.

Shouldn't the Doctors be British? You have some Americans in there.

A Doctor Who Movie would be an instant bomb, at least critically. The fans would hate it, most critics would agree that, while it could be a fun film, it is too different to the show to be called Doctor Who, but you'd always get people going to the cinema just to see how it turned out.

So really, this article was never going to get everyone's love. Although I will say, I could possibly see Robert Downey Jr. and maybe Johnny Depp playing the Doctor well. And I'm surprised at how many lookalikes you've managed to cast! I never would've thought Mary-Elizabeth Winstead looked like Sarah Jane Smith without that picture comparison!

Just no. If there were to be a movie, get Steven Moffat to write it, Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill (or whoever the new companion is) to star in it. Oh and we can't forget Alex Kingston.

NOOOO THIS IS POINTLESS AND JUST WRONG, IF HOLLYWOOD WAS TO EVER DO AN AMERICAN VERSION OF DR WHO. I WOULD HUNT EVERYONE DOWN WHO WAS INVOLVED, KILL BILL STYLE ! ! !
