I have to say that there might be a very, very slight chance that this is MJ-related but being a bit more realistic, would she really dye her hair just to show she's interested in the role? And isnt it a little too early for them to be making casting decisions? Who knows, lol!

@LEE Fake hair and a hat wouldn't make me miss that cutie at the airport. =o) Good thought though. Perhaps that solves the whole issue. I'm no hair expert so I can't tell but maybe it is a wig.

why is it that whenever Hollywood wants someone to play a redhead, they ALWAYS cast a blonde?
not that it's a bad thing, but Kirsten proves that dye fades.

It has been long time, but I'm with MTL on this one! They need to handle Gwen Stacey first!

Hayden is terrible! Everything she does is pointless! She's pointless on Heroes and she will be a terrible Mary Jane. She looks awful with that red hair and she's way too short. I thought someone photoshopped her hair until actually red the article. I think her cuteness has blinded people and they don't realize her lack of talent. Besides, she's 5 foot 1 and she's too baby faced.

And for any other suggestions, remember that Mary Jane is not one of these size zero models, like Annalynne McCord. That's not what she is at all. Mary Jane is a busty, hip, sexy woman.

And we can't be sure how they're going to approach Gwen Stacy, because Gwen was originally a beauty pageant girl who Peter met in college. She was beautiful and sexy, just not quite as interesting as MJ. I do like her in Spectacular Spider-Man, but I don't know what they're going to do.
