I quite liked this. Some of the sexual references and more brutal violence in the last few DC animations is, I think, a little out of place but overall it was very enjoyable

Hahahaha, that was awesome.
Boomerang is a real dirtbag.

@Doopie - I agree that the sexual references and violence has been out of place lately. I'm 38 years old. They're fine for me and I enjoy them but what'e the point if my 5 and 7 year old sons can't watch them. I wish DC would cater more to them and not to 38 year old dorks like me.

Love this movie... and the animation was terrific.

I'm a bit older myself and personally I don't like the more adult line they're taking. Not only does it limit the audience as you say, but I just think it doesn't sit right with the rest of the film. I think they realise that the audience of the original run of B:TAS is now older and is still watching this stuff (guilty!) so they are trying to cater to that. It seemed very 'added on' though as if they wrote the whole thing then thought 'let's put in a few tits, swears and exploding heads'

I disagree. There are hundreds of hours of DC cartoons available for kids. What's wrong with a few hours that aren't?

Either way, I thought this movie was great, not for the sex and violence, but for the fact that it was genuinely a suicide squad movie and offered something a little different.

Wait there's sex in these movies now? I need to start watching cartoons again.

JL WAR was really childish...this movie is certainly not for kids, i like it.

I think all of the dc animated films are geared for adults. My son in no way is a sheltered kid he play the Arkham games and does a lot of things that he probably shouldn't. But I felt uneasy when the joke was beating the head in on Jason in under the red hood and I never really feel that way with my son. He has watch everyone so far but he might have to skip this one

Harley Quinn once made me reconsider my policy of not f*cking female Juggalos.

But then I realized they're all fat and that's why I had that policy in the first place...so...
ManCalledSting - 8/12/2014, 8:07 AM
McGee: You're so very right, my friend. Except I have a dishwasher who is a Juggalette, and she's [frick]able.
