A guest on The Ellen DeGeneres show to promote her upcoming film Spy, Melissa McCarthy briefly discussed where things stand on her rumored involvement with the all female Ghostbusters film. According to previous reports, McCarthy's involvement with the project hinges on her busy filming schedule. But is sounds as if she's a fan of the concept of an all female Ghostbusters team. "It's the greatest idea ever. "
Other actresses rumored to be eyeing the project (or targeted by Sony) include Emma Stone, Rebel Wilson, Jilian Bell and Cecily Strong. Bridesmaids director Paul Feig is currently attached to direct the project.
