Wonder Woman And Batman Know Each Other's Secret Identities In BATMAN v SUPERMAN

Within that hot new batch of official stills from Entertainment Weekly comes word that the image featuring Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman is not merely a chance encounter between two elite crime-fighters.

DC Comics fans are already drawing allusions to the above image and the animated Justice League episode Maid of Honor from Bruce Timm.

And just like in the episode, Batman and Wonder Woman may be playing as if they're strangers for the benefit of those surrounding them, but they actually know that the other moonlights as a crime fighting superhero.

Here's what EW reports:
Batman and Wonder Woman have a meeting of alter-egos as Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince parry and flirt at a high-society function. “I love the fact that there was this Thomas Crowne Affair, Bond-y sexy scene that they wrote about two people who are pretending to be two different people who each know the secrets of the other person,” says Ben Affleck.
