AiyalKilU - 9/12/2011, 3:37 PM
short, simple, effective

the way comics should be nowadays instead of product placements and too much backgrounds
RoClover - 9/12/2011, 3:37 PM
Looks sweet, exactly like the cover of the TPB. Can't wait for this!

YAWN.
Dev7 - 9/12/2011, 3:58 PM
Damn. Would DC stop with the batman animated movies all the time? There's like 10 Batman animated movies (with Batman or featuring Batman in it) and there's not 1 Flash animated movie.
MarkJulian - 9/12/2011, 4:03 PM
I like the Flash just as much as you but Batman sells. Thanks to Nolan, Batman is DC's flagship character. If Snyder hits a home run with Man of Steel then Superman will reclaim top billing as Nolan finishes up his trilogy. We probably need a successful live-action Flash movie before WB Execs would ever greenlight a stand-alone Flash animated movie. Right there with you though in terms of hoping.

Is there a dc short attached to this baby? All Star Superman was a let down in so many ways, hope this redeems DC.
MaddMonkk - 9/12/2011, 4:06 PM
nevermind just seen Catwoman on htere. Thought she was part of the movie for a second. Cool
Action - 9/12/2011, 4:10 PM
If any of you so called Fanboys actually read Batman year one, you would be pumped seeing Gordon in that picture holding the bat and gun. Gordon in that pic is about to beat Flass like a red headed step child.

I have liked all the DC Universe Animated Movies so far (with the exception of Wonder Woman because I never saw it). Superman: Doomsday and Superman/Batman: Apocalypse were a little disappointing, but the rest have been good. My favorites are Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, Green Lantern: First Flight, All-Star Superman, Batman: Under the Red Hood, and Justice League: The New Frontier. Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths and Batman: Gotham Knights were good too though. Batman: Year One should be great. I love the comic.
Tevii - 9/12/2011, 4:13 PM
This was a great movie... but I think I liked Under the Red hood better still... simply because we've seen batman's origin a million times.
Cant wait until the two-part The Dark Knight Returns...and of course SINESTRO CORPS WAR
but then after that i wish they would give us a Flash and an Aquaman movie already. (BUT Warner Bros makes the rules and they say make more bat movies...bastards)
Ripper - 9/12/2011, 4:18 PM
I hope this isn’t done by the animation team that did Red Hood. They sucked and made a good film bad. They are the Scooby Doo animation team. (Not a joke) I can totally tell, and I pray they don’t use that team to make this. If so; I’m not waisting my money. Get a DC animation team and keep your WB crap away from the good stuff!
batmanrises - 9/12/2011, 4:20 PM
Is it just me or does Batman sound like H Jon Benjamin? Does Batman have a Van?
thedon786 - 9/12/2011, 4:28 PM
bring it.
Merry - 9/12/2011, 5:00 PM
Art looks pretty good, I'd prefer them 2 ditch the trunks with all incarnations they do now though; makes a lot more sense especially with the New 52, but hey guess they were paying tribute to the original work...
BATMAN1X - 9/12/2011, 5:16 PM
BATMAN= AWESOME
Sosa4693 - 9/12/2011, 5:26 PM
whats the point in getting this if i own the comics
SKOne - 9/12/2011, 7:07 PM
I think DC should make one Wildstorm universe short to gauge the reaction. I haven't seen any those characters on tv or in movies and it would be something new and different to bring in new fans.

BillyBatson1000 - 9/13/2011, 5:51 AM
More jazzed for this than the 3rd part of Nolan's DK. Does anyone know if this will be region-locked? <--- British!
ROMACK - 9/13/2011, 6:07 AM
Am more psyched for this than I am for TDKR.
SUPERSHADOWBAT - 9/13/2011, 10:27 AM
Looking forward to Batman year one! If its anywhere as good as the comic book was, it will be a winner!
SpiderFan35 - 9/16/2011, 7:59 PM
@ batmanrises: He does kind of sound like him, and now I can't stop thinking how funny he would be as Batman! lol

And hey, Catwoman looks like Catwoman! What a great idea!
