Pretty awesome, right? Obviously the film ends on a cliffhanger and if you want the story to continue Bat In The Sun is calling on the fans to help fund the next chapter in the story via Kickstarter.Click the image below to donate, you'll get some cool rewards for your contribution.

I also recently had the opportunity to chat with Bat in the Sun's Aaron Schoenke who not only wrote and directed the film but also portrayed Nightwing. The exclusive interview will be posted on CBM soon.

Be sure to head to Twitter and thank @BatintheSun for all their hard work!

Bat in the Sun Productions is a self-contained film and music production company. They are based in the Los Angeles area, 10 miles north of Hollywood California in the city of Calabasas. The company began in 2001 and was founded by Aaron Schoenke and Sean Schoenke. The work of BITS has collected many film festival awards, and has received notable attention from the film industry, as well as a loyal fan base.

AiyalKilU - 10/7/2011, 8:05 AM

I'm just waiting for CG to show up and say how this was better than any of the crap nolan has made
BackwardGalaxy - 10/7/2011, 8:12 AM
Probably should have lebeled this NSFW, don't ya think?
McGribble - 10/7/2011, 8:14 AM
For something that likely had a crap budget, it was pretty good... At least a little entertaining.
MarkJulian - 10/7/2011, 8:14 AM
Remember guys this is a fan-film which was shot on a very limited budget and with minimal resources. It's not a big budget Warner Bros. picture.
ThaMessenger07 - 10/7/2011, 8:15 AM
That was pretty Awesome. I hate that they always Cast guys that are 6'5 to play in these Batman Shorts but he did a great job!
TruthNoFodder - 10/7/2011, 8:16 AM
Excellent fan film!
TruthNoFodder - 10/7/2011, 8:17 AM
@AiyalKilU If you want a dialogue heavy story, I recommend Patient J.
THABATMAN - 10/7/2011, 8:21 AM
Only thing I really didn't like was Nightwing's costume.. other than that. it was cool
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 10/7/2011, 8:22 AM
I had to lower the volume when Poison Ivy is cutting dick. Sounded like I was watching porn
grifter - 10/7/2011, 8:23 AM
I liked this. Makes me wish I did something creative like this in my life.
RunDTC - 10/7/2011, 8:23 AM
is this what cgblade was raving about last week?
airbeyonder18 - 10/7/2011, 8:30 AM
Very well done. Croc was actually pretty scary. These guys never cease to amaze.
CapedCrusader - 10/7/2011, 8:31 AM
Not bad at all
Canuck - 10/7/2011, 8:35 AM
Bravo, Mr. Fan Guy. It is better than most of the older tim Burton Batman movies.
jimoakley666 - 10/7/2011, 8:36 AM
Dude looks like Keaton's Bat.
keytarhero - 10/7/2011, 8:36 AM
That's quite an achievement for what I imagine was an incredibly small budget.

Makes me think that a live-action television show could be really well done. Get some better writers and a television budget, we could have an awesome weekly Batman-noir series on our hands!
jfromkrypton - 10/7/2011, 8:38 AM
Why yall hating on bat in the sun productions I think its pretty damn good what are you all doing with your lives at least they putting out something that staying true to the comics n city of scars was awesome
marvel72 - 10/7/2011, 8:58 AM
i thought it was pretty good for a fan made, better fighting than nolan bat films.

& poison ivy looked like a dirty slutty bitch.
Pontius888 - 10/7/2011, 8:59 AM
Poison Ivy is hot!!! Nice video!!!!
hoodedjester - 10/7/2011, 9:19 AM
cool vid - loved the 89 film batmobile in there. Not bad for such a low budget
krooklyndodger - 10/7/2011, 9:20 AM
That was actually pretty good. Had me wishing that it didn't end so soon.
tqb - 10/7/2011, 9:26 AM
how do people have money to make movies like this for fun
hoodedjester - 10/7/2011, 9:47 AM
@ TQB - Easy, they sell their bodies lol.

Actually, Robert Rodriguez volunteered for drug clinic trials in order to get the money he needed to make El Mariachi which was like $7000 or something like that.
skidz - 10/7/2011, 9:56 AM
Other than Dick's costume, this is a REALLY good short. I think the dialogue is better than the latest batfilms, as much as I like them.
TheSoulEater - 10/7/2011, 9:56 AM
These guys never cease to amaze
skidz - 10/7/2011, 9:57 AM
This is another example of putting together quality material on a shoestring budget and making it look more expensive than it is.
Godzillafart - 10/7/2011, 9:57 AM
Better casting for Batman than Bale.
hoodedjester - 10/7/2011, 9:58 AM
@ skidz - your avatar is awesome
ElBicho - 10/7/2011, 10:01 AM
Poison Ivy was hot as hell!
