This is a pretty good fight.

You know, I just can't keep hating the Red Hulk. Yes, he was a gimmicky introduction, and yes they had him beat up other characters too easily for awhile, but I've read some of the recent issues, like Hulk of Arabia, and those are just old school style comic fun. I like it. Also, I hope that new villain Sultan Magas shows up again.

Collosunaut for me, but maybe only because I'm bored of Rulk.

COLOSSUL-NUTS WILL WIN.
padrejeff
padrejeff - 1/19/2012, 8:23 AM
Colossus alone would give Rulk a run for his money, but powered on top of that with Juggernaut's power? Rulk doesn't stand a chance. Clossunaut should toss him out like garbage. Even Thor had a difficult time with Juggernaut, even with once removing the aura of invulnerability around him. Rulk should be toast. This would be one death I hope doesn't come back from the dead. Too many hulks hulking around. Let's go back to just one.
padrejeff
padrejeff - 1/19/2012, 8:24 AM
Colossunaut should rip off Rulk's head and drop kick it to the moon. That would be a sight to see. Also, it give the Avengers a pause that Rulk could be taken out like that.
SuperSomething616
SuperSomething616 - 1/19/2012, 8:32 AM
@ SpideyQuad - I agreed is it Colosuss's power + the juggernauts?

Cause if it is...Rulk wouldnt stand a chance...

My favorite X-man for the win!

Denn1s - 1/19/2012, 8:37 AM
rulk kicked thor's ass and punched the watcher...colossus is colossus + juggernaut. that's a tough one...probably colossunot because he is unstoppable and rulk will be exhausted after a while..
JRoark
JRoark - 1/19/2012, 8:38 AM
You're all wrong.

Remember how Rulk seemingly lost his ability to absorb the energy of his opponents, else he would face bitter consequences? Banner later admitted that was a lie in order to "leash" Ross.

In a battle against Peter, Ross would simply absorb the energy coming forth from the Crimson Ruby of Cytorrak and use it to augment his already great strength to knock Peter's BITCH ASS OUT.

Look up the Red Hulk Marvel Wiki page. It says he still has his energy absorbing powers, and that his strength is equal to that of the savage hulk when he is at his angriest (not my words, theirs).

It's not even a fight.

Going with the Russian on this one. Colossus to win.
padrejeff
padrejeff - 1/19/2012, 8:41 AM
Why don't we just have the Avengers and Xmen decimate each other and then have all the super-powered criminals rise up and divide up the world like what happened in Old Man Logan. marvel could keep maybe a few of the real popular guys around but it would be a whole shift in the playing field. Could create some cool stores and simplify the Marvel universe. Things are too complicated nowadays. It would give Marvel a change to re-engineer things without complete reboot. It wouldn't wipe out what went before it, just a continuation of things.
Shaman
Shaman - 1/19/2012, 8:41 AM
Well yeah, if Rulk goes all "red tampon" on Colossus' ass, it's all over. I just didn't know he could. Now i'm just pissed Marvel invented a retarded unbeatable tampon.
Shadowmaster35
Shadowmaster35 - 1/19/2012, 8:51 AM
Seeing as how I hated Ross as a human and even more so now that he's a freakin Hulk yeah i'm going with Colossernaut for this one.
bathead
bathead - 1/19/2012, 8:53 AM
Red Hulk really is the worst character ever. He makes no sense, why would he not have the mustache? Oh wait cause then we would have all known who he was an not bought all those comics for a year! I would still be reading hulk if not for this character.
JRoark
JRoark - 1/19/2012, 9:06 AM
And I realize, too, that if Rulk can absorb anyone's energy, he just might be the biggest badass on the planet... In order for someone to beat him, he would have to go up against someone whose energy he couldn't absorb--either they'd have too much energy for him to absorb, or it'd have to be a kind of energy he wouldn't be able to absorb (like psychic energy, or maybe even magical energy). Maybe they'll consider the Juggernaut's energy "magic" energy and that's why Rulk won't be able to absorb it and that's what'll make it a fight. Maybe that's their angle. We'll see. Otherwise it's going to be pretty boring. It's just that so far Marvel hasn't put any limitations on what he can absorb. I'm surprised he hasn't absorbed Iron Man's batteries when fighting him, or something like that. Maybe it's only bio-energy he can absorb. It's probably just one of those b.s. "We're not really going to define it, we're just going to adapt it to fit the needs of whatever story we're writing" kind of powers that writers love. Le sigh.

I might interject the fact that rouge and Colossus can touch with no consequence. Then maybe this fight will have a diffrent outcome that no one will intisapate.

Wtf... This how marvel keeps it interesting u give colossus the juggernut power ... Seriously? And people complain about DC ... For shame

Rulk absorbs too much power from Cyttorak, overloads, dies. Bannulk is forced to return.

Done and done.

@ wolverinesfury

During the Marvel crossover event Fear Itself, Cain (as Juggernaut) lifed a mystical hammer (as did Hulk, Thing and a bunch of other powerhouses in Marvel lore) and became a "Worthy" called Kuurth: Breaker of Stone. Eventually, Kuurth goes rampaging through San Fransico, forcing the X-Men to stop him (Kuurth had already beaten the Thunderbolts). When Cyclops has Hope use all of her power to take off Kuurth's helmet, the X-men realize, in vain, that Kuurth is immune to mental attacks (unlike Marko's Juggernaut). So Colossus and Kitty plea to Cytorrak that Marko serves another master now (The Serpent, who is main antagonist of Fear Itself). Cytorrak gets jealous and agrees to transfer it's magical powers to Colossus.

Colossus then proceeds to whip Kuurth's behind, which even both versions of the Thunderbolts couldn't do. To give you an idea of his power, not even Thor could beat one of the Worthy single handedly until he was given Ragnorak by Odin.

The Worthy were eventually defeated by Ragnorak and various Avengers of different lineups, who all had magical uru armor given to them by Odin via a deal he made with Iron Man.

Colossus has become addicted to the Cytorrak's power and I'm fairly certain he can't transform into his human state, or if he can, he's too addicted to try. (I could be wrong though, as they really didn't delve too much into Juggolossus during the Schism event and I've not read the comics leading up to AvX.)

I assume Colossus will become a villain in the near future, perhaps because of the AvX storyline. It's gonna be epic.

i would love to see colossus come out on top of this fight.

so the avengers has thor & two hulks on their team, its pretty much game over.
adamcawa
adamcawa - 1/19/2012, 10:45 AM
@JRoark

Rogue couldn't absorb the powers of Cytorrak (and instead just absorbed Cain's memories), so I assume Rulk couldn't either. Cytorrak only has one avatar. Dr Strange cannot overcome Cytorrak's magic, and Thor could only temporarily limit Juggs invulnerability.

So I presume they'll just say that Rulk can't absorb his power. Although he wouldn't if he could because then he can't turn back into Ross, unless that too, is a lie.

I'd rather see the real Hulk and the real Juggernaut go at it again! but I go with Juggolossus (patent pending for adamcawa)
