The film is still shrouded in mystery at this point but the imagery here definitely evokes a dark and violent tone akin to the comic book. I think I'll have to move the ol' optimism meter a few notches to the right.

The helmet looks to bulky. It should be more fitted to his head.

On the one hand the helmet looks a little too big.
On the other hand I totally buy it as a piece of armour.

I think they tried to go TOO FAR from the design/concepts of the Stallone Version, so they tried to "dirty" up the suits & give everything a raw, hardcore kinda feel to it. I'm just not feelin it, I'll buy a ticket but I'm not expecting much....

i lovee the look on dredd, looks just like the comic. atleast the director wasnt afraid to be true to the comicsand stuck to the source material he didnt do a bryan singer or kenneth b on what he did with thor and was afraid to have thor with the helmet through out the hole movie dredd looks great

Okay the hemet looks weird but come on realistically, it looks more like an armoured helmet unlike stallones which if he headbutted someone it would of fractured his skull along with the guy hes hitting. It makes sense the helmet would be padded. Though they couldve made it more tight round the face and big/padded on top.

hatuhz! The suit looks fine; personally I'd rather see larger shoulder pads - the eagle and the other pad; there should be a chain from the zipper to the badge. BUT, as far as adaptations go, IT LOOKS GREAT. The helmet does look a bit large, but he looks like he's ready to hit the streets and kick some ass.

say what you want about stallone's disgrace of a dredd movie at least it LOOKED good and the dredd costume was way better (for the 5 minutes he had it on.

It does look alittle off... will wait for a trailer when we see him move before judging it, it is not the size of it, it is how you use it :p

Looks brilliant. Can't wait to see this. I don't mind how bulky the helmets are. When Carlos first started drawing it that's how they looked. They started off like a more fitted version of this, then looked just like this, and are now more fitted but more flared out like Darth Vader's. I'd imagine the director has gone with the look from his favourite run in the comic.

The last image is a fan poster. It's not a real poster. The film is out in September which is not really a summer month.
As Justice Dept would say
"Better Dredd than dead!"

Lmao helmet looks too big, but then again they were trying to be true to the comics with the helmet and it does look like it in the comics. What not satisfied? It's the same as the comics from the size, and about the shoulder I bet he'll get it in the end I know that.

Having read the screenplay I can assure you it's very violent. If it maintains a R/18 rating it's going to be one of the most violent action films in years. If you like violent full-on action films... Dredd will deliver. Whether or not this will appeal to all long term Judge Dredd/2000AD readers... hard to say.

It is the same helmet, but at different angles. I am sure that we won't see a full on direct face-to-face shot of Dredd so it won't come across as corny as it did in the second picture.
As for the raspberry sauce burst out of that guy's hair. Bring it on! This is one character that I am okay with being bloody violent. Maybe it will get the writers of the next Wolverine movie thinking about the right way to handle that character. (Like in the Origins: Wolverine video game.)

Different lenses and lighting will make the helm look bigger/smaller. The respirator pulls down over the face.

gota be honest, Idk about how the story will work in the long run but Im really not liking the look. the more I see of this the better the Stallone flick is looking.
