ABOUT
MTV Geek and Marvel Comics are pleased to present "Avengers VS X-Men: War Journals," an all-new video series going behind the scenes of the year's most anticipated comic book event. This documentary will give viewers an unprecedented look into the Marvel offices, creative retreats, key planning meetings and creator studios -- showing just how Avengers VS X-Men was developed by the most creative minds in comics!

"This is the biggest story Marvel's ever told and we're excited to partner with MTV for a special look at how Avengers VS X-Men came together," said Axel Alonso, Editor In Chief, Marvel Comics. "We've never shown just what goes on in our top secret meetings--from the development of our best ideas to heated debates--and this is the first time fans will see just how it all goes down, along with new insights into key moments of this series."

The series unites the top talent in the comic industry--including Brian Bendis, Jason Aaron, Matt Fraction, Jonathan Hickman, Ed Brubaker, John Romita JR, Olivier Coipel and Adam Kubert--for the biggest story of the year. This twelve-issue landmark series brings together the world's most powerful--and popular--super hero teams for a war like the Marvel Universe has never seen before!

Avengers Vs. X-Men or AvX is a limited series comic book crossover to be published by Marvel Comics beginning in April 2012, that involves the rebirth of the Phoenix Force, the subsequent war between the Avengers (consisting of the main team, the New Avengers, and the Secret Avengers) and the X-Men, and the emergence of a future Age of Ultron, as foreshadowed in Marvel Point One. It will be a 12-issue limited series following Avengers: X-Sanction and X-Men Regenesis story lines.

The event is preceded by Avengers Vs. X-Men #0, which will be published in March 2012. According to Marvel, Avengers Vs. X-Men is the end result of all the threads from the Fear Itself, X-Men: Schism and Avengers: The Children's Crusade stories coming together.

I'm actually so torn in this event....I can decide who i want to win this ...at all. I read both and both have a great chance of winning.

I think most of the top tier fights will end in stalemates with the heroes realizing it was a misunderstanding and working together to stop a greater threat.

I don't think either team will win. It will come to a stalemate and the X-Men will walk away with Hope, she will become Phoenix and then take the form of Jean Grey.

Jean will see what Cyke has become and hook up with Wolverine, Scott and Emma will stay together and probably get married.

They've already been hinting at Jean's return forever, and when Hope was uncoscious during the Serpent Juggernaut's rampage, someone even mentioned that Jean has already returned, and looked directly at Hope.

yes, i'm also clairvoyant.
