Christopher Nolan Defiently revived Batman, he also changed the CBM industries now some CBMs are not afraid to get realistic.
GoILL - 8/16/2012, 9:42 AM

Wow, what a legacy! Batman is truly a phenomenal pop culture icon. I only hope that whatever "era" of Batman comes next can stack up to the Kane, Burton, Batman: TAS and Nolan Eras.
Moriarty117 - 8/16/2012, 10:03 AM
And Miller
CaptainObvious - 8/16/2012, 10:07 AM
It's actually been 73 years, but 70 works, too.
TrueRedBlue - 8/16/2012, 10:09 AM
Nolan's depiction of Batman is the best one yet :D
GoILL - 8/16/2012, 10:09 AM
@Judecheung I laughed at that when I saw it as well.
Rykoo - 8/16/2012, 10:10 AM

Very Kool.
JohnnyKrypton - 8/16/2012, 10:37 AM
No offense to Eartha Kitt but the 60s-era Catwoman should be Julie Newmar.
GoILL - 8/16/2012, 10:39 AM
@Nomis good shit bro.
JohnnyKrypton - 8/16/2012, 10:39 AM
And the Bronze Age Batman is actually an Infantino cover from '64 or so...should've been a Neal Adams or Marshall Rogers, IMO
JohnnyKrypton - 8/16/2012, 10:40 AM
Still, pretty badass overall!
TheBigBoss917 - 8/16/2012, 10:42 AM

Omnivium - 8/16/2012, 11:12 AM
@MrEko

That comic strip is awesome! What is it from?
Omnivium - 8/16/2012, 11:15 AM
Also in the Shumacher era, Halle Berry's Catwoman is shown, although it didn't come out until 2004.
evyllsummer - 8/16/2012, 11:15 AM
I always liked Cesar Romero's Joker...
DarkKnight4ever - 8/16/2012, 11:26 AM
Excellent. Only one complaint. Julie Newmar was THE CATWOMAN in the TV series. I had many wet dreams of her in my youth LOL
RavenMoon - 8/16/2012, 11:40 AM
I like both DC and Marvel. Admittedly when I collected(I sold all my collection when I went to combat) only one title was DC and that was a batman title. I did not have the biggest collection either.
Batman did reflect very strongly on my young childhood. I loved the 60's TV series as a young child growing up in the 70's. Batman is a Superhero Icon.
TheDetectiveComicRises - 8/16/2012, 11:52 AM
Batman & Superman are the two greatest Superhero characters ever created in my opinion I luv the passion of & for them & their morals of not killing & still remaining BadA**s. They are great representatives of heroes & facing temptation & not stepping across the line.

Batman is one of us a human who doesn't complain about not having Superpowers but goes out on patrol every night. Christian Bale is my favorite Batman/Bruce Wayne but I like em all Michael Keaton, Adam West, Kevin Conroy, Rino Romero & all. Heath Ledger & Mark Hamill & many other actors also!

& Nomis that is a great photo!

& Spidey31, very well said :)
DarkKnight4ever - 8/16/2012, 11:54 AM
RavenMoon...sounds like you and I are similar in age. Was Julie Newmar IT or what?
TheDetectiveComicRises - 8/16/2012, 11:58 AM
I luv the luv for Batman & Comics on this page! :)
TheDarkSouffleRises - 8/16/2012, 12:37 PM
Who is this being depicated as Two-Face from the 1960's Batman TV show? He was never in the series.

"There had been plans for Two-Face to appear, depicted as a news anchor who was disfigured when a camera blew up in his face. Though Clint Eastwood was discussed for the role of Two-Face, the show was cancelled before any appearance by this character was made."
StormLoganSummers - 8/16/2012, 12:48 PM
^^False Face.
AsianAvenger - 8/16/2012, 1:51 PM
they should have used Julie Newmar's photo

Hehe. Joel Schumacher error.
Ichaos - 8/16/2012, 2:48 PM
I wish people would stop describing Nolan's Batman as "realistic". Asking for a "realistic" superhero movie is like asking for a "realistic" version of Lord of the Rings, Star Wars or Star Trek.

Now it looks like they are trying for a "realistic" version of Superman. It will be great to see a "realistic" portrayal of an alien from another world that can fly, not be harmed by bullets, shoot heat beams from his eyes, and create hurricane force winds by blowing at you.
Roland - 8/16/2012, 5:49 PM
mgeoff88 - 8/16/2012, 8:03 PM
LOL! 'Joel Schumacher error.' This is [frick]ing awesome!

@Nomis *Slow claps* You know who my favorite superhero is, but that was still great. :)
mikesinuman - 8/16/2012, 9:36 PM
no robin? and anne hathaway wasn't catwoman, she was never called catwoman.
thisheart - 8/16/2012, 10:21 PM
Yeah, why did they have b list villain Scarecrow on that and not Robin!?! I'm not saying anything against Scarecrow, he rules. But Robin is a much bigger part of the Batman mythos.
