Greetings folks! In our never-ending quest to keep you knuckleheads entertained, we're rolling out a new feature for your entertainment pleasure, CBM Time Capsule. In said feature, we'll be combing through old comic book issues, but not for their storylines or art, for the supplemental content, the promos for upcoming titles, advertisements and column letters. Hopefully you find this sidestep from the usual entertaining, if so, we'll keep it going.

Wearing that outfit its no wonder that guy wasn't getting tagged out. It took a guy in pink to attempt the job. Gotta love 80's induendos.

And I think we have a controversy on our hands. That letter in the Meanwhile section appears to be a forgery. Google Mapping the address brings up an abandoned house. Either a forgery or all the poor Bob Jones Jr had was comics and nothing else...not even stairs.

Third column in the letters section speaks to Grif. "Power tempts anger and anger is like wildfire. Avoid it." Why would they diss on Wildfire like that? He is one of DC's creations.

I love these comics, too. I'll spend more time with the ads than the comics in some issues. I love this concept for a regular piece. Keep it coming.

This was the last time that comics were worth a flip as far as I am concerned.

Love this. Keep it coming. How about more exactly like this about the "filler" but also some about old story lines as well. It's gotten to the point where it will take an immense amount of effort to find old, entertaining and interesting story lines. I wouldn't mind that either. Even as a life long Comic book lover I know there is alot of story lines I don't know about.
