After just 2 episodes, CW's Arrow is a certified hit and has won over the majority of skeptics and naysayers. If, you've been following the coverage on the site you're well aware that we've only scratched the surface so far in what's still to come. We have Deadshot debuting tonight at 8pm on the CW, Deathstroke, The Royal Flush Gang, Firefly and many more intriguing possibilities and characters to see before the season wraps. One such character, Helena Bertinelli aka Huntress will be making her debut in episode 6.

"People love their comic books. It has already got such a support and a strong foundation and you know people are going to watch it. [The show] is more dark and gritty and is kind of more along the lines of Christopher Nolan's Batman. She's kind of like the female version of Arrow in that they're vigilantes with a vendetta to see through, but then they come up against each other because he thinks that she is ruled by emotion and revenge. You audition for so much, it's constant, and to get one that you like and you like the story, you like the character and where the writing is so incredible is just such a gift because it makes it so easy because I don't have to work it's just fun."

An interesting description of the dynamic between Huntress and Green Arrow as so far, you could easily say that 'emotion and revenge' are governing Oliver's actions as well. Could Oliver's motivation for vigilantism change between now and episode 6? And don't forget, The Royal Flush Gang will also be turning up in episode 6 as well.

Iv only seen the first episode so far in the uk but it is already my new fav show, it was gritty and it was cleverly directed, I loved the action because there was plenty of it and it was like reading straight out of a green arrow comic

Basically, they're taking the dynamic that post-crisis Bruce and Helena had and using Oliver as a surrogate.

As much as I like the show, continuously repeating the whole "dark and gritty" line ad nausium tends to make me think it really isn't but if we keep repeating it then you'll believe it is.

@JonathaNisMagnuM: You lost me at "Batman Begins was the best of the series."

Jonathan, I beg to differ good man but the second Nolan Bat film was the best of all 3!

I think we can compare this to the tone in the Watchmen.

I was a big fan of the Birds of Prey comics written by Gail Simone.

I wasn't crazy about her playing The Huntress, but she looks stunning in that official picture.

I mean, not only does she look gorgeous, she also looks dead on like Helena there!

I'm not sure why anyone would be excited to see the suit. It's a CW TV show. It's not going to be revealing. Almost certainly it will be a full leather one-piece up the collar, with a little bit of purple.
