Six New Official KICK-ASS 2 Stills

Hot off the official debut trailer and poster for Kick-Ass 2 comes six new stills featuring Kick-Ass, Colonel Stars and Stripes, Hit-Girl and The Mother F%&*^r. Are you looking forward to seeing the ragtag heroes more or the ragtag villains?

Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation.

When we last saw junior assassin Hit Girl and young vigilante Kick-Ass, they were trying to live as normal teenagers Mindy and Dave. With graduation looming and uncertain what to do, Dave decides to start the world’s first superhero team with Mindy. Unfortunately, when Mindy is busted for sneaking out as Hit Girl, she’s forced to retire—leaving her to navigate the terrifying world of high-school mean girls on her own. With no one left to turn to, Dave joins forces with Justice Forever, run by a born-again ex-mobster named Colonel Stars and Stripes.

Just as they start to make a real difference on the streets, the world’s first super villain, The Mother F%&*^r, assembles his own evil league and puts a plan in motion to make Kick-Ass and Hit Girl pay for what they did to his dad. But there’s only one problem with his scheme: If you mess with one member of Justice Forever, you mess with them all.

Damn, when Carrey said he changed himself to be this character he wasn't playing. I'm having a hard time seeing Carrey's likeness through the makeup. I really hope he doesn't channel any of his other characters like Fire Marshall Bill.



I want him to truly create a new persona. I already know he will knock this outta the park. Only reason I'm looking forward to this is his performance.

I just hope people don't spoil(er) the whole movie before it comes out. Already had one HUGE spoiler in the earlier article's comments.

This is one of the few comics I'll wait to read after the movie.

2013 >>> 2012 IMHO. Just on the level of anticipation for me. Avengers and tdkr were huge, no doubt... But mos, im3, fast 6, kick ass 2, star trek 2, oblivion, after earth, pacific rim... Even excited about gi joe... Great year for comic fans, action addicts, anime fans, even... A freaking new dbz movie after over a decade! What a year...

This looks more and more better with each passing month and news article on cbm. Loved Nic Cage in the first one, and how it showed him actually putting on the black eye make-up to create that blacked out effect when wearing his cowl. He embodied the role of Big Daddy. Now it looks as if we might have another great actor in a role that steals the show with Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes. And that pic of hit-girl on the motorcycle kicks ass, no pun intended.

This looks better than I was anticipating, but I've heard bad things about the comic run it was based on. Something about the mother [frick]er raping somebody and killing a dog. I have no interest in seeing something like that onscreen.
