How about those last 15 minutes? I was unsure how I was feeling about this episode but those last few developments between Arrow and Huntress were exceptional. I know Helena is a bit of a sketchy vigilante in the comic books but the show has taken it to a whole new level.

EDM MEGASTAR STEVE AOKI OPENS OLIVER’S NEW NIGHTCLUB — With his nightclub set to open and a new romance brewing with McKenna (guest star Janina Gavankar), Oliver (Stephen Amell) is as happy as he’s been since returning to Starling City. But when Oliver’s ex, The Huntress (guest star Jessica De Gouw), suddenly returns to town, she threatens to destroy everything and everyone he cares about. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and her father (Paul Blackthorne) struggle with the return of Dinah Lance (guest star Alex Kingston) who claims she has proof Sara is still alive. Thea (Willa Holland) gets Roy Harper (guest star Colton Haynes) a job at Oliver’s club, but he’s not too inclined to stop his life of crime. Oliver and Tommy (Colin Donnell) are thrilled they were able to get Steve Aoki to play at the opening of their new nightclub, Verdant. David Ramsey and Susanna Thompson also star. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Jake Coburn & Lana Cho (117).

I really wish Oliver had killed Huntress, that would of been the highlight of my day...Wow I really have issues.
SaintCrow - 3/20/2013, 6:14 PM
i hope that they do not rush things with this show. seems like it at times.
SaintCrow - 3/20/2013, 6:15 PM
@ndwwrestler2
I agree with you 100%, there is just something about her that seems forced
ndwwrestler2 - 3/20/2013, 6:17 PM
@SaintCrow My problem with her is that she is a word that rhymes with itchy, and another word that rhymes with lazy
CPIXLEY - 3/20/2013, 6:22 PM
Huntress [frick]ing sucks.
Blackvoid - 3/20/2013, 6:22 PM
Started off pretty slow, got good by the end. Ya Huntress is a little tooo "loco".
yourhairsmellsnice06 - 3/20/2013, 6:23 PM
i honestly believe that it was almost worth the 2 week wait
gmoney0505 - 3/20/2013, 6:29 PM
Enjoyed this episode. I enjoyed it way more than I thought i would. I will miss looking at McKenna Hall. Its one thing this show has packed down to a science, it is hiring eye candy for the female roles.

The actress for Huntress was way better this go round than her last 2 episodes. Glad she slithered that answer to Ollie being The Hood. She told them but they dont know she told them. Great writing especially when people saw the trailer a while back thinking she 100% sold him out.

jlabatman0511 - 3/20/2013, 6:38 PM
i liked huntress when she was first on, now dat bitch has got to go! Get the net!
marvel72 - 3/20/2013, 6:45 PM
notice that sky one is repeating series from the beginning again, how crap is that for the fans in the uk.

don't worry i'm not a fan.
NotU - 3/20/2013, 6:48 PM
T-mobile comment was some classic Diggle.
ndwwrestler2 - 3/20/2013, 6:51 PM
@NotU I hope we get more moments like that, that was hilarious.
StrangerX - 3/20/2013, 7:03 PM
Yea I was hoping he killed Huntress too.
HipsterAngelusNY - 3/20/2013, 7:11 PM
1. I really don't like the huntress
2. Felicity is pretty extremely hot (librarian hot)
3. Diggle had like 5 lines in total in last 3 episodes
4. Cool to see Roy Harper kick some ass & did anyone notice how they referenced the needle/drug thing
5. Not a fan of the missing sister story line, but I understand that they have to add some other plot to the story
6. Slade and Oliver have a buddy cop chemistry it's pretty cool
SlaveMasterFlexXx - 3/20/2013, 7:20 PM
God huntress is terrible I'm begging for Oliver to kill her in every scene, she gets progressively worse. Too many people know his secret. It's his fault all those FBI agents died because he couldn't just let her rot in prison. The missing sister storyline gag me.
Roy Harper kicked ass. His best friend is a doosh.
yingyangpalms - 3/20/2013, 7:28 PM
The poll questions never fit the actual episode. Great episode but the Huntress doesnt kick ass.
HipsterAngelusNY - 3/20/2013, 7:29 PM
Also he was talking about having the blood of people she killed on his hand, What about the 30 innocent FBI agents that she killed i guess that doesn't count, lol.
darkjoker1 - 3/20/2013, 8:06 PM
it was an aawesome epsiode man the huntress is crazy hot and i did i mention shes crazy and a total bitch XD and wow roy harper kicked ass :D and think god oliver ended his reletionship with his cop girlfrend....and when is fecity and oliver going date lol hahaha....
Pasto - 3/20/2013, 8:18 PM
I really wanted to put the arrow in her my self (Thats what she said) at some points!
gmoney0505 - 3/20/2013, 8:33 PM
I dont want Felicity and Oliver to date. If Felicity needs to date anyone its Diggle. They had some great chemistry in the episode Oliver got shot in. They need to drop the sis in law thing for him cause that kinda needs to be off limits to go after your brother girl even if he is dead.
darkmetal - 3/20/2013, 9:07 PM
I like to Torrent Arrow from Pirate Bay usually an hour before it airs on the East Coast. So its nice to get to watch it early without commercials!

It was a great episode but the Sarah is alive thing needs to be dropped.
Oliver's guilt over that is a part of his character. Bringing her back erases the credibility of the show. Death needs to be the place you dont come back from on this show. They dont need comic book gimmicks.
gmoney0505 - 3/20/2013, 9:18 PM
@darkmetal
I agree with you about the Sarah thing. Once someone is presumed dead on this show it needs to stick especially if they been gone for 5 years and was on a huge shipwreck like they were on the show. Makes it really unbelievable if she is still alive that she can somehow survive that kind of wreckage.
SWelch - 3/20/2013, 9:20 PM
Just because Sarah's Mom think she is alive doesn't mean she is. Though I hope she doesn't turn up alive. I wouldn't mind if they find someone who they think is her or claims to be her but then they find out she is a con artist of some sort.
Nomis - 3/20/2013, 9:44 PM
ANOTHER AWESOME EPISODE!!!!!

I thought the actress playing Huntress was WAY better in this episode than the previous ones she was in.

Her obsessive and rampant behavior toward revenge on her father (criminals) is very similar to how the Huntress was written in the early '90s in the comics, which is why Batman eventually kicked her out of the "family" and she found her way into the 'Birds of Prey'.

Really liking the kid they got for Roy, reminds me of the Outlaw version of him.

Nice touch with him being afraid of the needle, which is a hint at his abuse issues.

Diggs with the T-Mobile shot was Classic. Diggle is THE MAN!!!!

And Slade wilson is just...well, he knows how to deliver a seriosu DEATHSTROKE. Seems like him and Oliver is getting a "bromance" going.

Gawd, I hope they eventaully bring him to the current timeline and see him and Oliver face off!
MarkOfTheDemon - 3/20/2013, 9:45 PM
Great episode
darkmetal - 3/20/2013, 10:33 PM
@Nomis Diggle is very cool and I hope they start giving him focus and more action. I just hope the producers know people want more of that character/actor.
1geekygurl - 3/20/2013, 10:38 PM
Fantastic episode. Who wouldve thought Helena was going to be such a psycho biach! Shes the villain of the year.
Logan276 - 3/21/2013, 12:37 AM
Great episode!

Diggle bringing the funny as always, also liked that he was still looking for Deadshot.

The Huntress was much improved this time around, she played the crazy villain role really well. Glad to see McKenna leaving, she was fine but I'd rather they use her screen time for more interesting characters or island scenes.

Roy Harper kicking some ass was awesome and the little character reference about him being afraid of needles was cool.

Not really feeling the whole sister still being alive plot, although I suppose they have to find something for Laurel to do...
redmisery - 3/21/2013, 1:44 AM
The Huntress-gone-psycho development was well written, and well executed by Jessica De Gouw. I was actually afraid of her showing up behind my back and she pulled that move on Felicity. T-Mobile girl needs to come back somewhere around the season finale.
Best episode yet.

RedHood13 - 3/21/2013, 4:07 AM
He should've killed the Huntress, and Roy Harper kicked ASS!!!!
Nomis - 3/21/2013, 5:24 AM
darkmetal - Same here. Great character.
erickrivers - 3/21/2013, 6:29 AM
Am I the only person that almost had the show ruined for him when Roy spun around on the pillar? That was terrible!
PeterParker1991 - 3/21/2013, 6:57 AM
Okay episode. Better than the one before the break that's for sure. The whole "Sara is alive" is complete BS. It was awesome seeing Roy getting some action. It was obvious he and Thea were going to eventually get together. One thing I don't want is for his development to be rushed. Tommy is an irritating whimp. Can't stand him. Oliver should've stayed with that hot detective chick. Too bad she's moving.
sbdc1939 - 3/21/2013, 7:21 AM
I would of liked to see her actual backstory instead of the patricide one they are showing plus she is one crazy chick. It sucks that the hot detective chick is leaving but atleat ollie got to hit once.
blackagar94 - 3/21/2013, 8:36 AM
Am I the only one who liked the Huntress ? She was hot, convincing, and kicked some ass. Olivers shouldn't reject her like that.
RedHood3113 - 3/21/2013, 10:30 AM
i still think he should have killed her. I guess keeping her alive will keep the constant love triangle going.. especially when Ollie gets a new squeeze. I'm sure well see her pop up again, and when we do I really hope we see Ollie put an arrow between her eyes. totally gonna miss Mckenna tho, she was a nice addition for the time. really curious to see where Tommy and Oliver's relationship will go from here tho.
Whovian - 3/21/2013, 11:15 AM
So far this was the worst episode of the series. The Huntress is a pain in the backside, but she isn't a homicidal maniac. Oh! and the acting was atrocious! Hopefully this was just a bump in the road and not what we can expect from this terrific series from here on out.
ndwwrestler2 - 3/21/2013, 11:20 AM
@Whovian She wasn't a homicidal maniac? Did you see when she killed all those FBI agents?
Grayson7954 - 3/21/2013, 1:18 PM
that flip thing roy did was frickin stupid. didnt make any sense why he did that. its like oh look at me oh [frick] i got stabbed cause i was too busy trying to impress you with my acrobatics
Gothamslasthope - 3/21/2013, 1:53 PM
Episode was great, show continues to improve every week. Diggle needs more screen time and Huntress is crazy as hell, loving the show.
Yeaton10 - 3/21/2013, 3:39 PM
Red Arrow in a red hood = cool. Catching arrows = cool.

I actually think the missing sister has potential, but I am confused how they seem to forget the very likely alive missing person who was the major reason Felicity joined the team: Thomas. Further, if his disappearance is connected to the list, and the list is whole reason for Oliver being a vigilante, it should be top priority (if he is wondering whether his own father in law is important?)

On the more obvious question, there is big difference between what Oliver does and what Huntress does. She set out to kill someone, and killed anyone in between her and her target. Oliver would not set out with killing as a goal if it could be avoided. Further, the people in between her and her father were not his thugs. They were police.

Actually, Oliver 's killing is questionable. He believes it is always in self defense, but it is not a given that every thug he killed was a criminal. I doubt it is illegal to knowingly work as an armed guard for a criminal in his own house, and it certainly is not a capital offense. Legally, your home is your castle, and you can hire armed guards to defend its perimeter even if you are guilty of some other crime. Guards hired for the defense of home are not criminals, even if they know there boss is shady. Oliver should know this, and Felicity and Dingle have never pointed this out in so many words implying that they are basically accepting what he is doing (even if they think he is going a little to too far they have assimilated his values).

I don't think we're supposed to completely accept the calculated killing of the vigilante group any more than accept Thea's intoxicated driving (which could easily have claimed innocent lives). We are expect to see that Huntress is as cold a killer as the father she hates. Cold killers are very commonly the children of gangsters, and Helena is effectively perpetuating the cycle of violence.

ToddDamian - 3/23/2013, 1:15 PM
Not the best episode, but damn is Helena crazy. Glad to see Roy get some action and laughed at the needle phobia. Didn't like McKenna's character, so I'm glad she's gone for the time-being. I thought the island flashbacks were too quick though, but I'm definitely enjoying the growing comraderie between Ollie and Slade; can't wait to see how Shadow affects the dynamic. It was also stated when Roy was cast that he would be Thea's love interest, so that's no surprise. Not sure where the whole Sarah-is-alive subplot's going though; I'd rather they spend more time dealing with Tommy's family problems than Laurel's.
