50 different armours in a game = cool/fun as you have to earn them

50 different armours in a movie = stupid, and takes away from the film

Stark Industries:

Creates a suit to handle very heavy objects - forgets to give it fingers.

WOW! Now THAT'S the best one yet (followed by Silver Centurion and Shotgun)!

If Tony can create 40+ suits in a few months for this movie, what is he going to do for the Avengers 2? 100 Avengers vs. Thanos and the Chitari? With 90 of them being different Iron Men?

Who cares? It'll be shown in the movie for like 2 seconds anyway.
Jaspion - 4/15/2013, 6:29 PM
Hey guys

You can see the Amazing Spider-Man 2 OSCORP logo on the right at 00:32.

Does it mean anything?
decadron - 4/15/2013, 6:30 PM
StarlordX marvel has done that too. In fact they are currently doing something along the lines of "New 52" but claim that it isn't completely like that. Bullshit, both companies feed off each other for everything.
SimyJo - 4/15/2013, 6:31 PM
This is the suit Stark uses to fetch his 'Blondes-Brunettes-Redheads' little black book from the garage.

@Levi:
Bravo. Very well said. Marvel dominates the film industry a little short of DC because only Batman was a success, although it set the bar very high for other comic book movies none have surpassed, yet.

But DC definitely dominates everything else. Crazy how that works..

In any case, again, bravo. *bows* O_o
StarlordX - 4/15/2013, 7:01 PM
And a universe that reboot itself for money
MementoMori - 4/15/2013, 7:02 PM
Hey, I thought that they showed Tony had already built a suit for the heavy-lifting? What else sets this armor apart besides the overall look? The things attached to his arms remind me of a zippo lighter.
StarlordX - 4/15/2013, 7:07 PM
universe that reboot for money
Minato - 4/15/2013, 7:36 PM
If you are perpetually moving forward then I am not interested.

First bad advertisement that I have seen for Ironman 3 so far.
Thegeekygurl - 4/15/2013, 7:44 PM
Last year at this time Marvel Films had released enough Avengers clips that it was obvious it was going to be great.
I've yet to see one such clip from IM 3. Which is making me wonder if the film will be great or as bad as IM2.

And the argument that theyre trying to be secretive doesnt make sense. Marvel/Disney knows what worked just last year when they promoted Avengers with its many great scenes. So why not do that now with only 3 weeks left?
Optimus83 - 4/15/2013, 8:05 PM
Coolest Armour. ...
TheCaptain - 4/15/2013, 8:10 PM
@ABARy
I think 2 things will happen to the army of suits in IM3:
1. Most of them will be destroyed in the final battle with the Extremis army. Notice I say "most" not all. I think the ones that have been shown the most wont be destroyed. The background ones we have t seen much of will probably get destroyed. Stark still needs an awesome hall of armors.
2: The tech/upgrade that let's Stark control the suits is removed because he thinks its "too dangerous for one person to control" or something like that. Or else it will make no sense if they aren't mentioned or used in Avengers 2.
