My rendition (the SoulEater's) of what I think a live action Batman Vs. The Red Hood would be like...independant of Chris Nolan's version of course....

For Roman Sionis- Alias the Black Mask I choose Michael Wincott (if you've heard his voice, you'll know he's a shoe in for the part, especially for an older Black Mask. Come on you wont see his face, just that voice eminating from that mask.

For Commisioner Gordon- Ted Levine from Shutter Island (For those who haven't seen his work, he can definatly pull of an older James Gordon if you slap some glasses on him and put some of that gotham fog behind him, his vioce is always what I'd imagined Gordon's was in the comics.)

I love this cast. The only modification i'd suggest is for Talia Al Gul.

I'd go with Rose Byrne. She's an amazing actress and is a cutie.

you know i've never even thought of Willem Dafoe as the joker and i'm kicking myself now. He'd be awesome for the part! The guy is such a good supporting actor and he definitely has the chops in my book to pull of some crazy laughing and sadistic mind games.

Nice cast! I agree with all of them, with the one exception being Talia. Only I would choose, Slumdog Millionaire's very own Freida Pinto:



To me, this would be the kind of girl Batman would fall for...what do you think?

Good cast. As much as I like Brolin, I have a hard time seeing him as Batman. Not his looks, but his mannerisms and such just don't fit. Great other wise. I like the Ben Foster choice!

I like the cast, but I'd rather see Eric Bana as the BAT
althought I could see Brolin pulling it off... maybe.

Im not really high on the Nightwing pick I like Justin
Hartley for that role.

Love your JOKER pick Defoe would own that role he plays
the crazed lunatic quite well.

The rest class picks!!! Got me own JOKER (GLOVER) but luv your fresh pick!

Great role for LEVINE too!

BROLIN I've cast for BATS though old BATS in DKR, anyways he could pull off Bats but only problem i have with him is he's HEX in regular DC movie-verse, but i can deal with him being BATS too, love your work man!

@Bamf Freida Pinto will always have a special place in my geek heart, but I chose Marisol because as you can see, everyones a bit older, which is how i imagined Red Hood when reading it, no ones a teen anymore. And if talia had relations with an older batman, i thought putting her in her mid-late 20's would be better then early.

As for Ben Foster, Watch 3:10 Yuma, Hostage, and Alpha dog, you'll know he could pull it off.

And Garrett is a better choice then heartly acting wise, sorry.

I love them all!For an older Batman I would go with Eric Bana(1st choice) or Timothy Olypahnt(2nd choice).

I don't care much for Josh Brolin as Batman. But, I wouldn't complain if it was him. Ben Foster, is probably one of my most favorite actors. But, I don't think the role is right for him. I think he'd do an incredible job. Don't get me wrong. But, I don't know. Just doesn't fit. I've always thought Wentworth Miller for the part personally. Lovin' the Garrett Hedlund pick, I prefer Milo Ventimiglia honestly. As for Eric Bana as Batman, he sucks. No. lol. I've hated that guy in everything I've ever seen him in. I'd still prefer Adrain Pasdar. Willem Dafoe is pefect for Joker. Someone said for DKR but not this. I think he'd have to be older for DKR. But, I think he's the perfect age for this.

Ted Levine is a hugely underused & under appreciated actor.

Not sure about The Love Boat doc as Alfred. The role demands a certain air of dignity to it.

I can Understand that Dogs of War. But I've seen him do a butler in a movie and i was just thinking..."Thats Alfred...."

Actually, i agree with ALL of those, especially Willem Dafoe. Has anybody seen The Boondock Saints? Because i damn well have. He'd be an amazing aged Joker.

@Jib7z I knew someone had to see it my way because of that, Dafoe is good at playing street rat crazy on any medium, Joker would not only be easy for him to get into, but he'd ad something to the character of the incarcerated, OLDER joker vs. the aged and wiser Batman.

@joslezio85 I can totally understand your doubt, i guess its just tastes, but as you said he'd do a phenomnial job as HOOD, and Wentworth would do okay too, but I doubt he'd be able to deliver in the element of CRAZY REVENGE like Ben could. As for Milo as Dick Grayson, totally see it, but I see Garrett more, but Milo would definatly be my second choice no doubt.
