Keep Bruhl as Red Skull and cast Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Baron Zemo. The two of them could make a great balance of evil characters.

i dont mind if he is one of them 2 as long as it's only a cameo, i want civil war to focus on cap vs iron man. i want tony to be the bad guy for this film a battle of brains and a huge game of cat and mouce between the 2 as they attempt to out manoeuvre each other.

I hope they bring back Red Skull again, especially if their going to play out the "Death of Cap" storyline, but Zemo would be cool too.... If Rogers does die, I really hope Evans comes back, Evans seriously embodies Cap right now, he's really grown into the role.

I'm also imagining a possible Iron Man vs Winter Soldier fight too, Cap 3: Civil War is going to be insane, Marvel definitely knows how to deliver, can't [frick]ing wait

I'm hoping Zemo. Id love to see red skull but that belongs to Hugo. He did great and I'd love to see him make a change of heart.

Exactly. I really hope they keep Evans, RDJ, and Hemsworth around for as long as possible and I totally agree Thor 3 better be amazing and by the sounds of it, it will because Loki will be back possibly still in Odin's place and Thor 3 will be building up to the Infinity War movies....

Also, I can't believe we are getting Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and a [frick]ing Inhumans movie, pluse Dr Strange and Ant-Man coming up, Infinity Wars is going to be epic, by then we'll also have Daredevil, ect too, it's insane.

Zemo seems like a natural progression for the franchise and a nice fit for Bruhl.

I think the whole 'also Dr. Strange's big bad' is bullshit. My money is on Zemo. By the time Civil War rolls around, Strucker will likely be dead/defeated, Whitehall will be dead/defeated. Hydra will need a new boss for the film. Crossbones is the muscle but he isn't the mind. I say Baron Zemo plays a role similar to Alexander Pierce in Cap 2. But he'll live to see the end of the movie, and will probably pop up after Infinity War when they launch a new Cap trilogy starring Falcon or Winter Soldier.

@dethpillow I think they will either pull some contract ninja moves for Evans (like they have for RDJ) OR they will 'kill' him at the end of Civil War. But bring him back from the 'dead' for Infinity War part 2. A post credits scene showing Cap in a lab somewhere healing or use of the Time Stone.

OR they kill Cap at the end of the first part of Infinity War (thus finishing Evan's contract). And they have Ms. Marvel take up the mantle of Captain in between the two halfs of Avengers (and for her own solo feature).

I mean, imagine if Cap survives being frozen alive, getting shot by Bucky, getting shot by Crossbones only to be turned to dust by Thanos at the end of the final act of Infinity War. That'd be some bleak ass magnificent super hero angst. I mean, Cap dies half way through the fight to stop Thanos?!

Out of all the theories I've read, and if he is indeed the villain in Doctor Strange, the only character that makes sense is the Hood.

I just wish people would stop putting up pictures of (in THIS case) comic book Zemo. Everyone knows that Zemo will look nothing like that in the movie. I wish . . . but no.
Not a chance.

Purple? Really? Please, the MCU is afraid of purple.
