I actually got some subway a few days ago, won 10 bucks. :D

I'd just like to say, I've been keeping an eye out on the official GL facebook page. Two days ago, it had 125,00 followers. As of today is has over 165,000. Guess this advertising is paying off! ;D

Right at the beginning Tomar Re swims through the air rather than just flying normally, nice little touch there. :)

Hmmmm, it's weird, they're using a mix of finished and unfinished footage for this promo. Notice how in the scene during the great hall, the sky is all purple and you can't see the power battery behind it. The same goes with scenes with the gaurdians, the planet isn't as finished as we've seen it.

Parallax does looks pretty scary in this footage. Especially when the little girl gets sucked up into it. That was one of my early worries about the film, if Parallax was too fake looking and not scary.

Hal blasting the ring near the end of the clip was the most Hal Jordan momment of all the vids. Reynolds IS Jordan in those two seconds...

I've been following this since they announced it. (Not jack black era or any of those.) I remember when it was going to be either Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper, or Justin Timberlake. Good times. :F

I went over to Rotten Tomatoes earlier to check out Green Lantern's running time and its at 1 hour 45 min.I don't think that's long enough for an origin story.

This is kind of what I'd like to see more. There are plenty of new shots, but not really many new scenes. It delivers the desire to see something other than the exact same footage that's being regurgitated in every trailer and TV spot, while holding back from showing EVERYTHING before you actually get to the theatre.

wowo showed some cool scenes,cool action stuff and did you guys see what happened to that citizen vanished right???into parallax

this looks like it has sooooo much of cool stuff inside,in a way I like that they haven't showed all of it in trailers,so that we can be impressed,something tells me this will entertain people and be a very fun movie and surprise a lot of people.

wish this was in HD :)

I'm liking this more and more. I've never been a big fan of the Green lantern, in fact, when I heard they were making this movie i thought, wtf. but I'm having a change of heart and I might just have to start picking up GL comics.

@JackDexx Really? The suit looks fine to me! The only scenes that bother me CGI-wise are the scene of Hal flying just before he whips around the moon, and the scene where he creates a flamethrower, but otherwise, the CGI looks great to me.

There's not a single DC character I've been able to get into, I'm a Thor, Spidey, Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine guy. But the trailers n footage for this is totally adding a DC to my faves list. Can't wait to see more Michael Clarke Duncan voicing Kilowog and the scenes with Tim Robbins's character and Hammond. Got some great star power in this.

@Protonite, yeah like this isn't Captain America's shield either:

Just because it doesn't have the star or the colors doesn't mean it doesn't give the impression that it looks like Captain America's shield. In fact that's probably the only domed shield that could deflect the 20 mm armor piercing incendiary rounds from an M61 vulcan cannon.
