I read the info on the wikipage for it, I just can't believe at how WRONG this show is doing it....Alfred is a gun toting butler and Katana is going to be his sidekick instead of Robin. The character design looks like a worse version of the Green Lantern CGI cartoon. I would prefer more Brave and the Bold, that show is at least pretty fun and full of many fun cameos. They needed more Zatanna though. This is sad when CGI animation is becoming the forefront, I truly prefer hand drawn animation, I don't mind when they add in CGI elements, but those should be left to well designed vehicles. I hope we don't see Disney do this with the Marvel characters they now have control of. I hope Disney Marvel Universe sticks with 2D animation

Personally I liked the take "The Batman" took on both the characters, and history. The changes didn't feel too out of place as they worked for the story. This just sounds bad, but Kurtwood Smith as Lt. Gordon works for me.

I don't know why they canceled The Batman in favor for The Brave and the Bold, but so far this is looking better than The Brave and the Bold so I hope it does well. And Kurtwood Smith as Commissioner Gordon? [frick] YEAH!

shit adaptation, shit idea, shit animation, shit execution, shit sidekick, shit design, shit concept, shit everything.

Why can't we just have a straight up Batman animated series, no gimmicks, no kiddy cookie cutter crap, no shitty CGI, just traditional, hand drawn animation. Something worthy of following in the footsteps of Batman: The Animated Series, instead of this kiddy shit. Alfred with guns? Sure... Right... Batman's butler/surrogate father (who now has a Justin Bieber hair cut) openly and often uses the type of weapon that killed his parents. Sure that'll go down well with the Caped Crusader. And as for Katana... what a load of shit! Some random japanese girl, dressed sorta like Nightwing, carrying an over-sized katana (see what they did there? She's named after the sword!)... again, for a hero who doesn't ever condone killing, Batman's sure picked some interesting back up in this series.
