USA Today has gotten a hold of a brand new behind the scenes featurette from Cartoon Network's Green Lantern The Animated Series. The featurette takes us behind the scenes with a few of the voice actors from the series. In the video the actors talk about how they came up with the voices for their characters. The most interesting one came from Kevin Michael Richardson who says he used a cross between a Brooklyn, NY accent with The Thing from The Fantastic Four. Check the video out below.

Green Lantern The Animated Series stars the voice talents of Josh Keaton, Kevin Michael Richardson, Grey DeLisle, and airs on Cartoon Network Saturday's at 10:00 A.M.

well since he said he was a Green Lantern for a long time, maybe he stopped reading them when the oath did use Darkest night. Not until after "The Final Night" (which also used Darkest) was it officially Blackest. It tended to go back and forth

Nice! MORE ANIMATED SUPERHEROES!!! Seriously. I want Cartoon Network to have enough of a backlog of comicbook related properties so they can replace the crap anime ones they show at night. Why arent there more of these damn things anyways? With advertising, a series would have to be more lucrative than direct to DVD movies... not a business/finance major though.

so far they are doing an awesome job with this show. love it. only gripe is the animation. a little to clean looking. they can fix that though in latter seasons hopefully

love this show. its very different than the other dc animation shows and it takes place in space which makes it even larger in scope

It's a little silly, but I'm not complaining. It, obviously, isn't for my demographic. It's a really fun kid's show.

@Gusto, you are mistaken. The Spider Guild is are major enemies of the Green Lantern Corps. They appeared in episode 3 of GLTAS. Of course, you had Attrocitus and Zelius Zox in the first two episodes.

Yeah I got hooked after watching the pilot online. Now I gotta find the first season somewhere and catch up. So far this season is great! Really surprised it keeps your attention as an adult and is really enjoyable even though it's meant for kids
