IDK. Hope it does. Seriously IDK why they wait so long, no one is playing the movie at the box office after a while, so why not hurry up with the DVDs?
GoILL - 9/18/2012, 6:47 AM
I'll be getting this day one.

I hope they do a nice blu-ray trilogy box set with triple-plays and lots of special features. Ooh and art cards!

While I found TDKR disappointing it is still very watchable and in some places actually great, although the ending really lets it down. While I know Nolan doesn't like to include deleted scenes in the special features, I hope he makes an exception with TDKR if the rumoured Bane training scenes were shot.

SUPERSHADOWBAT - 9/18/2012, 9:53 AM
Great! the perfect Christmas gift to myself. Should be interesting to see what special packaging or cases they put out.
marvel72 - 9/18/2012, 10:11 AM
@ Equinox

why bring up the avengers in a batman article,i was talking about the dark knight rises in a dark knight article.

but as we're talking about the avengers yes you are dead right it has flaws to its story but the dark knight rises supposed to a superior piece of storytelling. :D
GUNGRAVE1 - 9/18/2012, 11:28 AM
Got to buy TDKR.

God I can't wait. Freakin love this movie.

marvel72
that was probably just a mistake on Goyers part. Bane really wanted Bruce to watch his city burn. Once Gotham was ashes, then he has permission to die lol. Also, Bane didn't know that Bruce was going to be able to make it out of the pit. He couldn't even make it out the pit himself so why would the person he defeated be able to? That was his logic though.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 9/18/2012, 12:35 PM
*mistake on Nolan's
thebearjew - 9/18/2012, 2:25 PM

thebearjew - 9/18/2012, 2:29 PM
teabag ya he made me laugh the first thing he said i couldn't help it i had no problem understanding him but to me he sounds exactly like sean connery in an air vent
TheFox - 9/18/2012, 3:19 PM
DAMN!

I was hoping it would be out sometime in October, or November at the latest, but December?!? Damn you, Warner Bros.-- you're Christmas baiting, aren't you?

Well, if they use the extra time to make a Blu-Ray set that actually lives up to the quality of the film-- like, with a FEATURE-LENGTH documentary, maybe about the entire Dark Knight trilogy, and a butt-load of other extras (not to mention a full IMAX presentation of the movie, with aspect-ratio changes like they did for the Dark Knight Blu-Ray), then MAYBE it'll be worth it. But if they go skimpy on the features like they did with The Dark Knight, I'll be really disappointed.

Ah, who am I kidding? One way or another, IT WILL BE MINE. MINE!!!!!
