Late yesterday a report surfaced that showed The CW Networks was planning on moving forward with their proposed Wonder Woman Pilot tentatively titled, Amazon. The show is said to be focusing on Wonder Woman's days on Themyscira, before she becomes the great hero everyone loves. In the report casting directors are looking to cast the main character, which in most cases isn't a big deal. However, the report said the main characters name is Iris NOT Diana. Fans have immediately shown their dislike for the move, which prompted DC CCO to do a bit of damage control on Twitter.

So there you have it, no need to panic quite yet. Fans have still been in a little bit of an uproar, because they want DC to focus on a Wonder Woman movie, rather than a TV show. With DC looking to move towards a Justice League movie in 2015, it will be interesting to see exactly how they would handle a movie Wonder Woman and possibly a TV Wonder Woman.
