After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become…The Flash.

Serenity - 5/15/2014, 5:50 AM
but you were probably going to add it!
JordanKing - 5/15/2014, 5:50 AM
I still think it looks a little cosplay-ish (admittedly great cosplay). Will wait until I see more of it in action.
ProfessorX - 5/15/2014, 5:52 AM
Where is the logo on the chest?
Sumitsjc - 5/15/2014, 5:52 AM
Whoa !! the description....
MrReese - 5/15/2014, 5:53 AM
Just rewatched "The Scientist" & "3 Ghosts" this morning.Flash ftw!!
0megaDaGod - 5/15/2014, 5:56 AM
Hoping they don't keep too much of this show at night. Flash should be a sunny show with a few moments of darkness
charlie2094 - 5/15/2014, 5:58 AM
Looks good! Quite like the costume, not perfect, but looks fine in the footage we've seen.

Wonder if at some stage they'll have him develop the suit he keeps contained within a ring, the one that expands when it contacts the air. Could slowly build to it, maybe see him occasionally experimenting with the stuff
Kingpin - 5/15/2014, 6:00 AM
The suit is glorious!

@OmegaDaGod Agreed.
0megaDaGod - 5/15/2014, 6:06 AM
They need to do something about the chest piece so that it doesn't wrinkle up whenever he moves. It clashes with the material on the arms which are extremely form fitting
bs77 - 5/15/2014, 6:07 AM
This will be awful. Flash is arguably the most powerful superhero alongside Supes and GL and he's getting the CW Smallville treatment. It's like they just grabbed some skinny nerdy high schooler and threw him in red costume, oh wait that's Spiderman. For the sake of comic book Barry Allen fans, I hope this gets cancelled quick. Arrow has some good going and I pray they keep this silly version of Flash away from it.
MexicanSuperman - 5/15/2014, 6:07 AM
I'm starting to not like the suit, not that it is bad but it looks weird. It is decent for tv, but not the movies. I'm looking forward to the show, I'll wait until the bluray comes out to watch it.
MexicanSuperman - 5/15/2014, 6:08 AM
@bs77, just be happy that this isn't part of the DCCU.
charlie2094 - 5/15/2014, 6:09 AM

Definitely, that's the only thing really bugging me about the costume. Needs to be very fitted, especially for a character like Flash. Rest is great, just the occasional bit that looks loose
0megaDaGod - 5/15/2014, 6:14 AM

Yea. I'm wondering why they didn't just go with something similar to Cap's chest piece in Avengers or even TWS. Something sleek and streamlined yet flexible
0megaDaGod - 5/15/2014, 6:16 AM
Kinda like this

Except with a bit more sheen so that it stands out from the cloth material on the arms. Other than that I pretty much love everything they did with the suit
Kingpin - 5/15/2014, 6:20 AM
I want to see these guys together in Justice League!

Doopie - 5/15/2014, 6:20 AM
looks nice, really looking forward to the show
charlie2094 - 5/15/2014, 6:22 AM

For sure, something similar to that would be great...

Who knows, hopefully it will get updated at some stage, but given that's the one real problem with it, done a pretty good job, especially on a tv budget
TheYeezus - 5/15/2014, 6:27 AM

It's possible the show will have a lot of dark scenes to save on the cgi budget, similar to Pacific Rim.
HachibiTheMC - 5/15/2014, 6:30 AM
looks good
MercwithMouth - 5/15/2014, 6:30 AM
Still not too big on the costume. But the show looks good so far. For me, looks like a great lead-in before AoS. Tuesdays are gonna be fun.
OstrichBane - 5/15/2014, 6:30 AM
Time for Grodd to rise.
shabat - 5/15/2014, 6:34 AM
It's only three months. We can do three months right?
Jamesx51 - 5/15/2014, 6:38 AM
Reminds me of Sheldon in Big Bang Theory
theValentino - 5/15/2014, 6:38 AM
looks great so far! I was a little skeptical when i saw the pics but it looks great in action from what we've seen.

They add little changes to make things fresh and different in tv and movies, is it really such a big deal that he looks younger or a little skinnier than he is in the comics? Grant looks great as The Flash in my eyes. As long as he has the characteristics and qualities that makes The Flash the great hero that we know and love from the comics, then i'm down with this shxt 100%
theValentino - 5/15/2014, 6:40 AM
^personality wise, that is.
0megaDaGod - 5/15/2014, 6:42 AM

Yea, for a TV bugdet it's incredible. And I'm sure it'll upgrade, it just depends on whether or not it's something they wait to upgrade after the first season or during it. As it stands, the chest piece and elements of the helmet are the only big problems I see with the costume
0megaDaGod - 5/15/2014, 6:42 AM
Also they need to brighten up that red, but that might be dipping into nitpick territory
Kingpin - 5/15/2014, 6:48 AM
One of the other great things about the teaser trailer is Oliver is exhibiting traits of classic Green Arrow, which makes sense considering where his arc is going. The "Show off" line was so Green Arrow.
megabatfan - 5/15/2014, 6:50 AM
So far, alot of the images i've seen if Barry Allen, he's wearing some sort of red attire. Like Power Rangers wear their civilian clothes to match the colour of their costumes. Please don't do that CW. Roy kinda gets away with it cuz it's the same red hoodie he's wearing over & over. But please don't do that to Barry
megabatfan - 5/15/2014, 6:53 AM
Yeah... I'm hopin that season 3 he develops into the wise-cracking Green Arrow from the comics. But he would still have alot on his plate to still be brooding though. Still dealing with his mother's death probably... Tryin to regain the company... Definitely what they're gonna do with Thea's arc is enough to keep him sulky... Hopefully Barry's influence is what makes him more wise-cracking
Kingpin - 5/15/2014, 6:54 AM

He dresses just like be does in the comics, and even Young Justice.

655321 - 5/15/2014, 6:55 AM
I dig the new flash look, but i 10000% do not want to see the CW heroes in the Man of Steel/Batfleck movies. If Flash or arrow shows up, I don't want to see the CW versions. I want to see Zach Snyder or newer takes on the heroes. To me Green Arrow and the Flash from the show feel to safe for the movies.
DCMultiverse - 5/15/2014, 7:00 AM
Maybe it is just me but I totally dislike this costume. The upper portion looks like one of those half leather half wool sweaters that were popular in the early 90's and it is way too loose for a speedster. Not trying to go fanboy on this but I only like the headpiece. The color is too dark as well
Kingpin - 5/15/2014, 7:03 AM

I think that's what they going for, as Oliver has now embraced being a hero. I do love what they've done so far though. I just love the way they've utilised the source to develop Oliver organically. Arrow in Season 1 & 2 is essentially a cross between Diggle & Grell's Green Arrow.
