Dr. Doom is a post-op tranny and Reed Richards banged him in college when he still had his lady bits. Calling it right now.

The truth is: Dr. Doom's favorite book series is Twilight. He WILL kill to keep that secret. That secret, and the fact that he and the Red Skull like to dress up and sing all the female parts from the play "Grease".

They have already done a good story about Doom's dark secret origin. And from the looks of it a lot better art too!!!

Hopefully it's a good secret. Most of the secrets are lame, but the Hulk/Iron Man secret was twisted! Turns out Tony Stark sabotaged Banner's gamma bomb back in the day. Makes me wonder if they'll do something similar with Doom.

What the crap is up with the Cap panels?
Why is all the art so bad?
Is that Howard the Duck? Since when is HE a $#%@&*$ Avenger?!?
What is this?
What's happening?
Why should I care?!?

WORST. ART. EVER. !!!!!!!!

Do people understand that the last few panels are not representing the Avengers but people dressed up as the Avengers and that's why they're fat and look ridiculous (as most cosplayers usually do)?
In that context, I can't see anything wrong with it.

I've never liked Villalobos' art though, but that's his style and it's only a few pages so no big deal there.

This event has been really great so far, looking forward to next issue.

You're talking to nonreaders, MellanRum. Anyone following this knows that its a vignette series pairing some grim stories with cartoonish throwaway backup stories. Its just supposed to be fun, and so far it has been.
