Everyone knows the legend of Hercules and his twelve labors. Our story begins after the labors, and after the legend. Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules’ help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, Hercules finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail… he must again become the hero he once was… he must embrace his own myth… he must be Hercules.

Also starring Aksel Hennie, Rufus Sewell, Ian McShane, Joseph Fiennes, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson and Tobias Santelmann, Hercules is set to hit theaters July 25th, 2014.

@ B00dwerK - Yes. He wears the Nemeian Lion as a headpiece. That part and the labors they show in the trailer (Lion, Hydra) are straight from mythology.

The Lion hat looks ridiculous on him. Comical. This is without noting the inexplicable size change.

LOL Thank you MsDarkPhoenix! And the shrinking is easy to explain, it shrinks when it's tanned and dried out. LOL. Also it's only the top part of the jaw. The teeth though he puts on his club. That I do know.

It was a poor attempt to re-create/1-UP the Conan scene where Arnold came out the cave wearing wolf skins. Same as Riddick on the throne in "Chronicles of...". Both are good actors. They just need to be as vunerable as Arnold was in Conan and other movies. When we know they are going to win. It defeats the purpose.
