Hahahahahaha ONE critic? Didn't even say the movie was good.
TheRationalNerd - 8/3/2014, 12:51 PM
Can't wait to see this one! It'll be my last Comic Book Movie of the year. :)
DrunkenNukem - 8/3/2014, 12:56 PM
@TheRationalNerd

last comic book movie?...what about SIN city 2???
0megaDaGod - 8/3/2014, 12:57 PM
'Critics' would imply that more than one said anything about the movie

This is worse than the one for TASM2
Giznad - 8/3/2014, 12:58 PM
Megan Fox told naysayers to eff off if they don't like it. Even though I loved the '89 TMNT as a kid, I never really "effed" on to begin with.
xStarLordx - 8/3/2014, 1:00 PM
I want to see this movie, because it looks good. Not an award winner, but like a good summer flick. Although I have to say..... thats pathetic. Doesn't stand a chance especially with Guardians success.
marvel72 - 8/3/2014, 1:02 PM
one critic..............

hahahahahaha

sin city 2 & gone girl i think will be the last films i see at the cinema this year.
FightAs0ne - 8/3/2014, 1:03 PM
"Critics are saying...."
*shows one critic*
LMAO
SusanFuentes - 8/3/2014, 1:07 PM
"I was ready to have a fantastic time at the theater, until the lights dimmed and the movie began. Then I realized I was in for the worse 2 hours of my life."

I am willing to bet this is the whole review.

BaneSmash - 8/3/2014, 1:09 PM
There goes bender laughing at his own comment.......... Sad if you ask me!

AsgardianHobo - 8/3/2014, 1:10 PM
It's a Michael Bay film, so it will have mixed/bad critic reviews and a mixed audience reaction. It will also make a disgusting amount of money....
marvel72 - 8/3/2014, 1:10 PM
this movie comes out 17th october in the uk,it doesn't seem like its in any rush to come out over here.
DrunkenNukem - 8/3/2014, 1:10 PM
@Alpha the last ComicBook Movie that im going to watch is SIN city 2...

I will watch both Interstellar and Hobbit 3 but those are not based on comics...i think..
MrMartinMarvel - 8/3/2014, 1:11 PM
I was cautiously optimistic about this movie after the first trailer, but everything they've shown us since then has just looked like pure shit. I'm still hoping it won't suck, but I'm really doubting it at this point.
Humperdink - 8/3/2014, 1:16 PM
No turtle puns in the quote?

patrat18 - 8/3/2014, 1:19 PM
Lmao one critic. Can't wait though.
YoungThanos - 8/3/2014, 1:19 PM
Critics are saying this and that yet there's nothing showing up on RT for it...?

Fcuk Turtle power! If anything I'll just see Guardians again next weekend on IMAX or drive out to the shore with the kids...hell maybe both.

Either way Bay will not see my money again...EVER!
Raphael - 8/3/2014, 1:21 PM
Its okay YoungThanos, I'll see it twice to make up for you. Fcuk GOTG. Go green machine.
BaneSmash - 8/3/2014, 1:22 PM
Well young thanos it's not a Bay film!
Darth258 - 8/3/2014, 1:22 PM
@marvel72

I've no idea what's up with summer releases in europe this summer. Here in Italy GOTG comes out the 20 something of october and TMNT september 15..
Arrow96 - 8/3/2014, 1:22 PM
There was a critic in critic's tv spot for transformers who said "BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR"....so yeah....
SuperPickle - 8/3/2014, 1:24 PM
I can't wait for the studio that releases a critic's spot for their movie that says how vapid and terrible the movie is.

"You'll roll your eyes at the hackneyed and childish dialogue!"

"Awful performances from third rate actors who play second fiddle to CGI!"

"A roller coaster ride through mediocrity!"
Darth258 - 8/3/2014, 1:24 PM
@YoungThanos besides that it's not a Bay film, even if it was look at the truckload of money he made with Transformers, a few people refusing to watch it because of who knows what reason isn't gonna stop it..
TheRationalNerd - 8/3/2014, 1:25 PM
Well we also have the twitter reactions from the press screening so I guess that should be something for people to hold onto.
BaneSmash - 8/3/2014, 1:25 PM
C'mon guys do you better about yourselves bashing on a movie that has one review? The embargo prob was just lifted..........
Amazing512 - 8/3/2014, 1:25 PM
I hope this film is good. I love the Ninja Turtles and would never want to see their film suck.
With that said, I'll probably see this in a few weeks. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to see Guardians of the Galaxy next weekend.
TheDudeRusty - 8/3/2014, 1:26 PM
There was a critics tv spot for Gigli calling it an excellent movie.
TheRationalNerd - 8/3/2014, 1:26 PM
@DrunkenNukem

Oh Yeahhh, I almost forgot about that one too. When does it come out? :O I already know that the 3D will be like that! I still gotta see the first one!
JoshuaDBr - 8/3/2014, 1:28 PM
A cheesy looking 15 second "critics TV spot" with "a fantastic time at the movies" as the only quote? I thought this might be good, but now not so much.
Mercwitham0uth - 8/3/2014, 1:29 PM
Just one critic. Lol. I have a feeling critics are going to hate this one.
krylonshadow - 8/3/2014, 1:31 PM
This is NOT the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This is some more typical Michael Bay destroys your childhood bullshit. I am boycotting the crap out of this movie. TMNT needed a reboot, not a butchering.
BaneSmash - 8/3/2014, 1:31 PM
Merc - Your prob right! It's not a marvel film.
bobevanz - 8/3/2014, 1:34 PM
Oh lordy this worries me.
TheDarkPassenger - 8/3/2014, 1:36 PM
DURR HURR ONE CRITIC
BboiBlack - 8/3/2014, 1:36 PM
What did critics think of the original movie?
BboiBlack - 8/3/2014, 1:36 PM
A great time is not the same thing as a great movie full of metaphors and substance. That lesson was proven this very weekend.
ThePowerCosmic - 8/3/2014, 1:40 PM
I was a fan of TMNT way before I knew who GotG were...but this film look terrible to me visually. I hate the design of the turtles and Shedder. The cgi looks doggy too. I'll wait and see how the reviews come back to decide whether to rent or see in a theater.

Peter Laird not being involved has me uninterested as well. He know the Turtles the best.

Still recovering from GotG...incredible stuff. Will probably see it a 3rd time next weekend!
LordThanos - 8/3/2014, 1:41 PM
This could rival Transformer:Age of Extinction for worst movie of 2014, gonna be a close one tho...
Kyos - 8/3/2014, 1:43 PM
Urm, I won't say anything about the actual movie or my feelings towards it, but releasing a "Critics" spot saying "Critics are calling Ninja Turtles..." and then presenting a single quote... that's at least a bit hilarious. A kinda awkward, uncomfortable kind of hilarious.

I just feel releasing a spot like this wouldn't do ANY movie any favours.
