'Barry Allen' Harnesses The Speed Force In Awesome New Poster For THE FLASH

Ahead of the season two premiere of The Flash tonight, The CW has released a new poster which sees Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) utilising the Speed Force. However, why is it blue, and what does Jay Garrick's helmet have to do with it? Well, hit the jump to check it out...

BARRY DECIDES HE NEEDS TO PROTECT THE CITY ON HIS OWN — Picking up months after the Singularity attacked Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) is still struggling to forgive himself for Eddie’s death. Concerned about putting his friends in danger, Barry has pushed everyone away and has chosen to protect the city on his own. When a meta-human named Atom Smasher (guest star Adam Copeland) attacks the city, Iris (Candice Patton) tells Barry that he needs to let his friends help him protect the citizens of Central City. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) helps Joe (Jesse L. Martin) with his Meta Task Force. Ralph Hemecker directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Gabrielle Stanton.

I like how they photoshoped the suit to make it look more reddish, instead of desaturate it as usually.

Yeah the 90's Flash suit was all artificial muscles,but this one doesn't have any,which I dig.He should have a Runner's body,slender and toned

Season 1 was amazing, I really enjoyed Eobard Thawne, one of the best villians on the screen in my opinion. I'm glad Tom Cavanagh is still regular in season 2. Also looking forward for Legends of Tomorrow, and let's hope that Arrow season 4 will be better than season 3 ;-)
