I say we should all have faith. Chris Nolans Batman movies have been mind blowing. He has done all the villians justice and I for one believe he will do the same with Bane. Personally I like the new look because most of the time he looks like a luchidor wrestler. @EULOGY, I think that might be the tube for the venom, not sure.

They better fix banes speech by movie time I could hardly understand him in the trailer and prologue its sounds sweet but I can't understand half of what he is saying especially in the prologue

I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but I don't see any tubes going from Bane's back or anything so that mask may be the source of where his venom comes from...

Hell his last Batman movie alone was nominated for 8 Academy Awards, and according to time magazine was the received the biggest snub for best picture in the Academy's history. I'm sure he knows what he is doing.

This movie will be amazing. I will come off as a Nolanite here but I hardly understand how Nolan has not earned everyone's faith yet, although you are all probably jaded by the failure of Spider-Man 3 and Sam Raimi. Time and time again, Nolan has not failed us, be it with the Batman franchise, or even his lesser known movie, Insomnia. He brings out the best of his actors and the best story lines.

And remember, it's not like he made this story up after TDK. Exec's at WB have stated that Nolan has had this trilogy in storyboard form since the beginning. This is well thought out. This is Nolan, so this will be fantastic.

What blows my mind is how people refuse to put their faith in Nolan, the established, successful, experienced storyteller and director, but blindly put their faith in Joss Whedon, who has only done an average movie (Serenity), although even calling it average is overrating it, and a few years writing for Marvel.

Is the logo for Marvel so enchanting to it's fans that they become instantly blind to it's flaws? I'm not saying Joss will do a bad job, and I am looking forward to the Avengers, I am only saying that Nolan has not failed us.

What has Whedon done?

Regardless of the movies success, there will still be people who don't like it. As with The Avengers. Although TDKR will fall victim to it moreso, as TDKR is DC and not Marvel, therefore instantly making it subject harsh criticism, while The Avengers will receive blind praise. Personally I believe both movies will be fantastic, although I also doubt that The Avengers success won't be as much as, at most, 750 Million. While those are great numbers, I believe that the people on this site hold it to levels far too high and they expect it to break 1 billion just due to it being a Marvel product. I, myself, would also love to see it join those that have broken that record, but I refuse to believe it will because there are simply not enough people that care about how important and crucial The Avenges are... because they are only crucial to us, the fans. And there just simply is not enough.

But once again I must state that I am not hating on The Avengers, multiple times I have said I hope it succeeds, I am just confused as to why Whedon is so blindly followed whilst Nolan is doubted... at least on this site.

Venom is a stupid gimmick and Bane is better off without it.

I am a huge Nolan fan as well and I'm pretty much just trusting Nolan since the trailer did not do too much for me. I'm sure it'll be amazing but it hasn't hit me yet like TDK did.

Also the original idea for the trilogy was for the third film to have Batman chasing after Two Face and having The Joker clue him in via Hannibal Lecter style. This idea was scrapped really early on of course but yeah. I believe that Nolan did want to have Heath be a part of the third movie still one way or another and thats probably one of the few reasons it was hard for Nolan to commit to TDKR.

Sometimes it's fun to debate, especially if you are at work and it is slow. I have no problem with people hating this movie as long as they explain there point.

I wouldn't say Intruders a troll. Most of the time he has well thought out responses and he just doesn't dig these movies. Sure there are times where he tries to get under the skin of people, but ehh, he's nowhere near the worst on this website.
