It'll be a shame to see him leave, he co-created my favourite comic of all time (The Ultimates) I had rather hoped he'd at least come back for one last hurrah with the Ultimates.

Oh well, never really was a fan of his art anyway. Adios.

The bright side is that his last arc in Marvel isn't going to suffer the same problem that most of his work there did, excruciating delays.

@Nomis... If you'd like to see his take on some DC characters, Bryan did a short stint with Mark Waid on the JLA monthly book plus they also did the oversized book JLA: Heaven's Ladder. Good stuff!

Best Artist they ever had in the last 30 years, someone who actually has a clue about anatomy, shadows and perspective.

Thank christ he's leaving the spandex shite behind, I hope he starts drawing some REAL comics now!

A lot of his early works reminded me a lot of Alan Davis'.

How is he the best artist in the last 30 years? Bullshit, I say.

He's not going to DC, it would've made way more sense to get in on the ground floor with one or their new "52" launches. My guess is the creator owned route with Millar. Stay tuned...

Sorry for the spelling. "His" :)

Anyways, he always manage to portray Thor in the way he is meant, that is "powerful".

Always thought his DC stuff was better anyway. I love Hitch's art though.

@ Slider13- If he was new to them yes, but he had runs on JLA, and some other DC stuff.

From Bleeding Cool:

“In two days time, an amazing decade at Marvel closes for me. What a wonderful time to have joined the party. Very proud and honoured.”

He has not said yet what his plans are for the future, only that,

“So naturally new horizons beckon. Boy ate(sic) they something. See you there.”

As many have pointed out, there's a peculiar part of that phrase about his next project that bears repeating:

Boy Are They Something......

BATS.

Take it with a grain of salt.

Too bad he didn't move over to DC for the nu52. Can you imagine Hitch's work on any of those titles?
It would've killed in sales, big time!

You all are wrong! Hitch has been on point since Authority and has been cold as frucking ice since then. I hope the best for this guy cause Ultimates was my shyt!

One of the best artists today, quite sad because The Ultimates was great, and I liked his run on Fantastic Four. And etc., etc. Overall, I love his work on Marvel.

But I don't mind if he returns to DC. JLA with him was quite a gold. Let's see.

If Hitch took over on Stormwatch,I would not be mad...Now,if they were going to bring back the Authority with Millar...Yeah,that'd be great.

Goodbye Mr. Hitch; I hope you make a great switch. As long as it's not DC, than you're all good to me.
