Showblitz reports that after sitting out last year's San Diego Comic-Con, both Marvel and Warner Bros. are bringing the big guns to the event this July. A first look at footage from Iron Man 3 is "firmly expected" according to the site, while a three hour block has been reserved by Warner Bros. on the Saturday for a presentation which is expected to include The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the debut of footage from Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. Don't expect a last minute showing from The Dark Knight Rises though!

It's also thought that Legendary Pictures will be bringing Pacific Rim, while Sony will more than likely be taking this opportunity to give the Total Recall remake a push before its release in August. As for Universal's R.I.P.D., it isn't yet confirmed whether or not they'll be bringing the Ryan Reynolds/Jeff Bridges comic book adaptation to the event ahead of its release next June. The same applies for The Bourne Legacy. Things are pretty quiet when it comes to Paramount too as the studio haven't decided whether they will be showing off anything from G.I. Joe: Retaliation, World War Z, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, Jack Reacher and Star Trek 2.

Meanwhile, Twilight will be back for its annual Hall H presentation and Disney look set to offer up sneak peeks of Wreck-It Ralph, Oz: The Great and Powerful and possibly The Lone Ranger. Robopocalypse won't be there and neither will 20th Century Fox, marking their first absence from the show since 2007. For more, be sure to click on the link below.

How about for Thor 2?
DCMarvelFreshman - 6/12/2012, 5:19 PM
@Wildaniel We'll likely get Thor 2 and Cap 2 panels next year considering filming doesn't start for them 'til August and January. But like @MARVELPSYCHO79 mentions, the deets for other secret films should be good enough.

Already IM3 footage, I can't imagine what it will be the CGI renders have probably only just started.

So I would think at best, might get a little bit of dialogue over previously seen footage.

MoS to show footage would be amazing, I know still a little bit over year to go, but really want to see something.

I'm so sad! I wanted to go this year, but the tickets were basically sold out by the time I got in the wait list. They even had resales and I still could not get any. The system last year was better, and even then it sucked. They really need to come up with something better.
marvelstudios - 6/12/2012, 9:30 PM
iron man 3 footage...too soon i reckon
R888 - 6/12/2012, 9:54 PM

KidGoku - 6/12/2012, 10:23 PM
I have a feeling a good bit will be shown for MOS: footage, trailer, the cast... damn i'm mad i can't go :/
Coloso - 6/13/2012, 3:04 AM
Yesss!! Looking forward to Marvel/Warner Bros panel and not to mention Pacific Rim! Although I hope to god the twilight panel is not on saturday cause the lines to Hall H will be much worse. Of course I shouldn't complain, I'm going to comic-con after all :D
Fantine - 6/13/2012, 8:30 AM
im getting so bored of Iron Man, Marvel have realised their cash cow and will milk it dry, while so many other heroes remain untouched.
ralfinader - 6/13/2012, 9:54 AM
@Catwoman1 - That cash cow that bores you is what will help fund the many other heroes that have remained untouched. It may not happen in a time frame to your liking, but it will happen because of Marvel and their cash cow.
