COMICS: First Look At UNCANNY X-MEN #15; "This Strange, Unpleasant Land"

Marvel haven't revealed any story details to go along with this particular preview of Uncanny X-Men, but the plot thickens as we see more of Pax Utopia in the latest Avengers Vs. X-Men tie-in from Kieron Gillen and Daniel Acuna.

cyclops looks great on that cover,i've only read up to issue 12 of uncanny x-men,i've got to borrow some more off my mate.

x-men by gillen are fantastic and very well written, like his journery into the mystery.
Great book now. That was due. It was long since was well written...

Looking forward to this. I love the "John the Baptist" line from Magneto, although I hope the writers (and Mags) haven't forgotten (or re-retconned) that he's Jewish. I absolutely love the tension present when he's around - no one can quite believe he's reformed, and he keeps trying to prove himself with his actions while leaving doubt by his words - and it's more his ironic tone than the words themselves.

Acuna's artwork is gorgeous. Love this dude's work. This is starting to look interesting now the silly 'round 1, round 2' fighting is over. It'll be interesting seeing how they get out of this. Hope it's not just a Phoenix re-set.

Gillen is a great writer for X-Men, don't care for Acuna's art. Wonder who will take over X-Men later this year...?
