Luvs me sum Sabretooth!!

I like liev, but Tyler Mane FTW! Wish we could get a PROPER sabretooth/Wolverine costumed brawl in the wild...

:)
DanteSparda - 6/29/2012, 10:16 AM
Awesome covers the first two, the third sucks really bad.

I hope the reborn of Sabertooth helps Wolverine return to be the beast he was before, he has been way too noble as of lately.
elcaballerooscuro92 - 6/29/2012, 10:18 AM
a comic book character comes back from the death mind blowing (sarcasm) it's never done before (sarcasm)
figuresmaniac - 6/29/2012, 10:21 AM
hmmm.... interesting
Bark4Soul - 6/29/2012, 10:21 AM
Uhhh the third one sucks? Ed Mcguinness is awesome, his cover is the business.
MatchesMalone - 6/29/2012, 10:27 AM
Ed McGuinness is awesome for what he does (I especially love his Superman), but Simone Bianchi's artwork is some of the most beautiful stuff I've ever seen. He's right up there with Alex Ross when it comes to the photo-realism. Love Bianchi, Jeph Loeb, and Sabretooth. This might make me pick up Wolverine's solo book again.
MatchesMalone - 6/29/2012, 10:28 AM
Oh yeah, and Cloak and Dagger rule! Always thought they were underused characters.
TheMyth - 6/29/2012, 10:36 AM
Awesome art!
RorMachine - 6/29/2012, 10:36 AM
Sabes was always one of my favorite villains so I'm glad he's coming back, but I hope they plan on doing something a bit different with him thsi time.

By the way, don't care what anyone says, Liev Schreiber was an awesome Sabertooth.
GUNSMITH - 6/29/2012, 10:38 AM
THEY NEED TO GET HIM GRIM WITH THE I DON'T GIVE A CRAP BRAWLER ATTITUDE.
StrangerX - 6/29/2012, 10:39 AM
ED is awesome!!!

Watcher - 6/29/2012, 10:39 AM

"By the way, don't care what anyone says, Liev Schreiber was an awesome Sabertooth."

-RorMachine

Soooo much better than Tyler Mane. There was actually some characterization in Liev's performance unlike Mane in X-1. No real motivation to have Sabretooth in the the first movie other than "the heavy". Liev Schreiber was the one of the only things I actually liked about X-MO:W.
TheDpool - 6/29/2012, 10:50 AM
This has been coming for a while the resurrection of Sabertooth so I'm looking forward to it and of course they have Bianchi back for art EPIC!
MatchesMalone - 6/29/2012, 11:04 AM
@TelaVizion- Ben Foster was the actor who played Angel in X-3. Good Actor. Bad movie. :)
thalidomide - 6/29/2012, 11:15 AM
The first cover is awesome.

I confirm Ror's comment about Liev Schreiber even though the movie itself sucked.

nowtheresaBATman - 6/29/2012, 11:37 AM
the cover art for Wolverine 310 is siiiiiick.

Mark Texeira's Sabretooth mini-series is still my all time favorite Sabretooth anything.
nowtheresaBATman - 6/29/2012, 11:42 AM
Schreiber was ok atleast he was a helluva alot better than that grunting wrestler in a wig.

Alexander Skarsgard for a classic Sabretooth done right.
DanteSparda - 6/29/2012, 11:42 AM
@thalidomide

I totally agree, he was one of the good few things the movie has, also there was a deleted scene were Wolverine was going to get his memory deleted by will with a Stryker's machine, but Sabertooth was concerned if Logan would remember him; the only piece of humanity he had in the story was removed because fück the movie.
imnotwearinghockeypants - 6/29/2012, 12:08 PM
Durr City.
Bark4Soul - 6/29/2012, 12:10 PM
Yeah I dunno @Interuder, those varicose veins on Wolvie is a bit unrealistic, hence why I want the Ed McG cover
GLprime2814 - 6/29/2012, 12:18 PM
Seriously man he got his head cut off and he's back again?
TheGreatone0207 - 6/29/2012, 12:28 PM
When is this being released?
marvel72 - 6/29/2012, 1:05 PM
love that sabertooth variant cover reminds me of uncanny x-men 207.
marvel72 - 6/29/2012, 1:07 PM
i forgot to say beautiful artwork by simone bianchi.
Zombie137 - 6/29/2012, 1:53 PM
Only Jeph Loeb could write the Line

Even i don't think i could survive the fall....

Really Jeph? Thats what you have to put there? Thats the best line you could come up with? Jesus Christ. With everything we have seen Wolverine go through over the years you are going to have him doubt whether or not he can survive a fall off the Empire State Building?

YOU ARE A MORON.

BTW I Love Sabertooth.
hope420 - 6/29/2012, 2:24 PM
@Intruder That's Stephen Platt for ya. Remember his Moon Knight stuff? Veins a poppin!!!
marvel72 - 6/29/2012, 2:59 PM
stephen platt prophet for image comics was pretty good.
LeoKragg - 6/29/2012, 4:42 PM
WOLVERINE #310" I can't believe it; it just encapsulates everything wrong with Marvel. Here we have a character, in this case Wolverine, who should never have a series. I remember reading X-men in the early 80's, when comics was an underground kinda hobby, and wolverine was a man with a past "shrouded in mystery".It was cool because he was this cigar smoking guy with cool hair, and you didn't know hardly shite about the guy.

Now he's got 310 issues, appears in umpteen other books a year, and mini series and graphic novels and has an origin story in which his name is revealed to be James "Howwwwlett" (ha ha get it) and he has bone claws that popped out when he was ten; living in a victorian mansion, 5 movie appearances. It's over kill OVER-SATURATION.
chasesuperremey - 6/29/2012, 7:56 PM
art is badass!
worldbreaker - 6/29/2012, 10:40 PM
@intruder that isnt sabertooths skull being exposed its just his face, eyelids
MasterApoc81 - 6/29/2012, 10:59 PM
sabertooth neeeds to be CGI with the voice or customed better ...i thought lev did a good job ....fox is the problem ......the actors they got were good for the most part except ....rogue....magneto .....juggy.......i mean they should have done what they are doing now.....i mean magneto is better with michael fassenbender .....if rogue needs to be rogue ...she had ms marvels powers before joining .....iceman beast angel cyc storm jean rogue neeed to be xmen before wolverine .....with their powers done right ...hugh jackman does good at wolverine ..keeep him ....they just need to let marvel do it right ....doesnt matter if fox remains producer ....they should notice when marvel has control what can happen .....note to fox AVENGERS ...xmen could be big toooo as long as the right people are helming it !
jimoakley666 - 6/29/2012, 11:04 PM
Never been a fan of Bianchi's work. It's too muddy and old-fashioned. Also, not a fan of the Leinil Yu style tree-root / jungle-vine veins. Just looks [frick]ing weird.
norseman79 - 6/30/2012, 3:09 AM
Sabretooth! awesome!!-....

what's this? Jeph...Loeb?

[frick].
