COMICS: New AVENGERS VS. X-MEN Act Three Teaser; "There Can Only Be One"

We're only a couple of issues into Act Two, but Marvel has released the following teaser which reveals that the Phoenix Five is about to become the Phoenix One as the deadly force decides it wants only a single host. Who will it choose?!

This August, the comic book event of the year – Avengers VS. X-Men – reaches critical mass as Earth’s Mightiest make their last stand against the Phoenix Force. But when the Phoenix Force yearns for a single host, who will it choose? There can only be one! Act Three kicks off in Avengers Vs. X-Men #9, hitting comic shops, the Marvel Comics app, and Marvel Digital Comic Shop this August.

i think cyclops will be the host because issue 12 cover shows nova against the phoenix & the host looks male.

do ya reckon its a male host? i think cyclops because the rest of the avengers look defeated,so its not an avenger.

You can tell they blurred any lines to make it hard to tell, but if I HAD to say, then yeah, male.

I have a feeling Cyke's gonna be the last person to hold it till the climax where either Hope takes it, Jean Grey if she's coming back to 616, or Scarlet Witch. Then we're gonna see Cyke dead, or in exile until he comes back as a bad guy.

all you guys that hate cyclops and wont him dead should go off yourselves Cyclops is the only person in the whole Marvel Universe that knows what needs to be done but i think it would be good for Scott to disappear for a minute so yall douche bags can see how the Xmen would crumble without his leadership you wont to Know how Why Xmen 3 sucked its because they off Cyclops in the beginning You need characters like cyke whether you like it or not

Alright so... Can someone explain to me what the [frick] Hope has to do with anything? Because it seems like the answer is absolutely nothing and they wasted our time with all of the Hope hype.
