some of these match up's the outcome has been wrong.

iron man vs magneto = winner iron man(wrong)

the thing vs namor = winner the thing(wrong)

captain america vs gambit = winner captain america(correct)

spider-man vs colossus = winner colossus(correct)

black widow vs magik = winner magik(correct)

the thing vs colossus = winner colossus(correct)

Whoever was writing iron man vs magneto... I have no idea why they thought it was a good idea to have magneto get into a slugfest with iron man. Wtf???

i was more pissed about the thing beating namor in water.

i do thing they could've made some better match ups.

Namor loosing to Thing in water was the only one that pissed me off. That and Luke Cage making him bleed.

I love how people have noticed Thor's godly jobbing these past few years lol

Then again it's The Phoenix Force, even divided into 4 it should still be in sky father ranger...

This is another example of how shabby things are at Marvel editorilly. Their continuity is in such a random state of disorder it's as if someone is running the company out of their garage. Here we are again with a title that's SUPPOSED to be part of a big crossover event, yet it's 2 months behind continuity wise.

This would NEVER have been tolerated even 10 years ago, yet now it's so common we see it all the time with Marvel. Rudderless ship.

I know this stands exceedingly little chance of taking place in AvX, but the circumstances would allow it to make sense. Cyclops is presently carrying around a "sliver" of the Void in his mind which he has, thus far, been able to repress. If the theme of the Phoenix is rebirth/rising from ashes - or evolution in Cyke's perception - it seems the Phoenix could very well resurrect ol' Bob Reynolds from that tiny piece of him in Scott Summers' brain, particularly because the Phoenix also happens to be residing in that same head space.

While sticking with the evolution/rebirth theme, Sentry could be brought back with the Void part of himself purged by the refining flame of the Phoenix.

yeah man, Sentry was a cool character, he was just written horribly after his introduction.

He was so powerful, but he was messed up in the head and too afraid to do anything worthwhile. Thats why he got no love. he had all that power, but never did anything.

Don't forget Red Hulk beating Colossonaut. Although I guess technically Colossonaut LET Rulk win so they wouldn't destroy Utopia in the process...but still, lame.

Psylocke and Emma deserve to win but im more excited for the Black Panther vs Storm fight. If Storm losses that will make ZERO SENSE, im fine with Angel losing against Hawkeye. Also Im certain that AvX vs 6 will be Hope vs Scarlet Witch and Cyclops vs Captain America.

@jimoakley666 yeah i've been really enjoying the artwork since JRjr left. Romita's artwork had its moments, but most of the time the art was facepalm worthy.
