COMICS: RED HULK Becomes RED SHE HULK This October
It's not yet clear what this will mean for the Red Hulk (who recently joined the Avengers and has become something of a fan-favourite character), but his solo title is set to be renamed with Betty Ross' Red She Hulk taking over as of October's #58.
Red Hulk (or "Rulk" as he's sometimes referred to by fans) didn't start off as the most popular of characters, but ol' General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross has since made quite an impact with his own solo series and roles in both Avengers and Avenging Spider-Man. In some ways, he's actually taken the place of the original Green Skinned Goliath, with major roles in the likes of Avengers Vs. X-Men. As the upcoming Marvel NOW! relaunch draws closer, it looks as if the publishers may be getting ready to take him out of the spotlight. This October, Hulk becomes Red She Hulk as of #58. The series will be written by Jeff Parker with art from Carlo Pagulayan on art. According to reports from the "Marvel's Next Big Thing" panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, "Red She Hulk (Betty Ross) will be on a mission for an as-yet-unrevealed organization that puts her at odds with the rest of the Marvel universe." How do you guys feel about this decision? Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place.
