SDCC '12: IRON MAN 3 Most Talked About Movie On Social Networks
Marvel Studios' Iron Man 3 was the most talked about movie on social networks during this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con. However, you may be surprised to learn which of the films shown off at the event received the largest amount of positive buzz.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Iron Man 3 and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey were the most talked about movies on social networks during this past weekend's San Diego Comic-Con. Oz: The Great and Powerful was next, with Man of Steel and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 not too far behind. This information was compiled by Fizziology, a social media research firm who looked at trends on sites such as Facebook and Twitter. However, while people were talking about these, you may be surprised at which films got the most positive reactions. Oz: The Great and Powerful came out on top, while The Expendables 2, Wreck-It Ralph, Django Unchained and Man of Steel weren't too far behind. The reason that films like Elysium and Pacific Rim don't get much of a mention is due to the fact that no new or existing footage was released online for fans to discuss. Oddly enough, Michael Bay's Ninja Turtles (which had absolutely no presence at the event) was the only film to receive more than 4% negative comments during the weekend with a whopping 28%. This talk was more than likely brought on by the reveal of the Nickelodeon series.
